We stayed two nights in this hotel. The town itself is not so very special, but it's nice to drive around to drive on a scooter and enjoy the landscape. The people of the hotel at first seemed nice but but they were apparently not to be trusted. The laundry turned out to be three times as expensive than was... More

Main fans not working. Ordered peppermint tea, out of stock. Ordered ice cream out of stock. Ordered jam baguette, only sweetened bread and jam full of ants. Then to top it off we were short changed when it's really overpriced anyway. Avoid!

My friend and I stayed at this guest house for a week in January 2014. On the whole our stay was adequate. But, the security at this guest house is appalling! On our last night we returned from being out for the evening only to find our room had been broken into and the "security guards" slept through the whole... More

This amazing wooden guesthouse sits right opposite the river and main road which is good and bad news. Its rightin the middle of all the action in Kampot, all restaurants, massage, bars are less than 5min walk. But its also quite noisy, non stop traffic from the main road 24hours a day. The second beat thing about this hotel is... More

It's a pity, because the infrastructure would be good. The location is perfect. The place is actually cool, but it seems, not taken care of it properly! Room was cleaned in Cambodian style: i.e. not really cleaned. There was a musty smell, a lot of dust all over the place. Bedlinen smelled bad. And on top of it all, there... More

$7 for tinned tuna spaghetti with a bland tinned sauce. Found 2 hairs in it, didn't finish it. My husband didn't finish his "steak". This place looks great from the outside, there are so many other nicer places along the river, save your money.

I stayed in Moliden for a night, it was very cheap, around $15-20 a night. Accommodation was very basic, dark but not un-nice. It sort of looked like a Canadian wood cabin. The hotel was pretty much empty when we visited so the staff were very helpful as I think they didn't have much else to do. Generally there wasn't... More

On arrival in Kampot, our tuk tuk drove past that lovely wooden building advertising asian and italian food. We thus put it on our list. That night, as we were not particularly hungry and a bit tired, we decided to give it a chance. Not a lucky number. It the setting is nice with plants, flowers and lights, that's all.... More

First of all, we had a pleasant experience there. Our room was clean, service was very friendly and helpfull and the location is excellent - at the riverside, close to the 'center', but not in the middle of things. The hotel is very cozy and has an overall friendly athmosphere. However, the rooms and especially the bathroom are very dimly... More

When I first stayed at Moliden three years ago, it was quaint and a bit quirky, but a great homely experience. Made the mistake of trying to revisit the past and all I can say is it was bloody awful. The place still looks lovely from the outside and is still, obviously, in a cracking position in the centre of... More
