We stayed here for 3 nights, and thought it was a really good place and excellent location. It has only been around for about 2 years, and is very clean and secure. The rooms are nice (we had a partial river view on the second floor - which meant less stairs), and there are extra touches that are unusual in... More

This hotel is in a new building. We chose one of the more expensive rooms ($39 with breakfast, $33 without). It had a sideways view of the river but it was so small, ditto the bathroom. Also you need to enjoy climbing stairs if you choose a room with a good view. Nice communal balconies at the front of each... More

Thank you for taking time to write a review. We are a bit baffled in regards to your comments on the size of the room and bathroom. Both are actually over the standard size here in Cambodia. Also, considering that you inspected various rooms before deciding on a "partial river view" room on the 3rd floor, we do consider it... More

This is a really nice and clean, well organized hotel. The owner is Australian and runs it well. Anything happens or you need something and he is around plus he emailed us with loads of help prior to trip. The rooms are very nice with all expected things. Comfiest pillows in S.E. Asia -- finally! Breakfast is really good with... More

I feel lucky to have chosen this hotel. There are a number of good small hotels in delightful Kampot but this was the best for me. There are different rooms for different budgets, but all rooms are very reasonable and sparkling clean. I chose a more expensive room with double aspect windows facing the river and the mountains. A spacious... More

Not many hotels in Kampot, during my visit in Southeast of Cambodia, especially Kampot, I already choose Kampot Riverside 2 times to stay. The reason is it is located in right place, along the Kampot riverside, which I really enjoy the view of riverside with French Colonial bridge and scenery of mountain and cool and fresh air. I love sitting... More

Great place, nice room, incredibly clean, all the amenities, centrally located, great river view. Great value, lovely breakfasts. The owner is a lovely guy, friendly, charming & helpful. One of the best places we stayed thus far in our 2 months of travel in SEA. This places really ticks all the boxes - loved it!

Great position at one end of the kilometre long strip of bars and restaurants that run along the riverside. Very nice room - ours was on the first floor overlooking the river. Breakfast was included which was eggs, bacon, tomatoes and a roll with fresh fruit and tea or coffee. The bar was a nice place to have a drink... More

The location of the hotel is their saving grace. In front of the river at the end of town. I didn't experience a very warm welcome and there was a stinky stench in my room, the fridge wasn't plugged in, etc. I would have paid a little more to stay further down the river.

The hotel has the essential needed for staying over a few days. It was as well appreciated the extra bits provided as toiletry in the bathroom (toothbrush, comb..). The price of the room was a bit above what I would have paid in Vietnam, as to be honest Kampot is not really a wonderful place to visit or touristic around,... More

A delightful hotel located overlooking the river. Central to tourist spots in Kampot. Very helpful staff led by a excellent manager. Room was spacious, comfortable and had some touches not usually seen in Asian hotels - sewing kit, pen. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant/bar was well placed with views of the river. Staff were helpful in arranging... More
