As much as I have been unhappy with a posh restaurant in Phnom Penh I have been very pleased with the java bleue cuisine. Refined, fresh, creative. I would recommend the Java Bleue restaurant to anyone passing through Kampot. Good service as well, attentive and not pushy. A place to remember in the lovely quiet , provincial town of Kampot.

Our room was lovely for two night at this boutique hotel in Kampot. Beautifully decorated like the photos. The hotel is very central which was good but as Kampot is so small next time I would book a little further out. Unfortunately the first night dogs barked for two hours non stop. There are many dogs in Kampot and the... More

Beautiful colonial villa in the heart of Kampot. The Australian lady who co-runs this place was super helpful and takes care to ensure great service. The rooms are spacious, immaculate and tastefully designed with Khmer decor style.

We stayed here for just the one night. We were welcomed so warmly by Donna on arrival with a drink and good chat. The room was huge with the best bathroom we've seen in Cambodia yet. Bed was comfy enough & the aircon issue that a lot of people reference was not a prob for us. Our only issue was... More

I recommend going here only if you have a hankering for cheese, it seemed like the only exceptional thing here. Though their iced Khmer coffee w/ sweet milk was a tasty wake up. According to the character count I have not yet reached the minimum

We stayed one night in the Chinese room and it was nice. It had a cozy balcony, and modern bathroom facilities. The restaurant offered a good selection of fresh fish which were delicious. I would go for the French room if I were to revisit this place though but the overall experience was delightful.

Stayed for 2 nights i the French in October. Room comfortable and very clean, beautifully decorated. Breakfast very nice, great coffee. Laundry across the road washes for $1 a kilo. Walking distance to everything in the town.

My wife and I just spent a week here, and we loved every minute of it. We booked the Chinese room, because we are smokers, and nit has a balcony. Although the room is slightly smaller than we had imagined (and therefore our fault) it was comfortable and had a good bathroom. There were also several plug sockets, which is... More

Donna and Jean Claude run a very fine establishment, with fine food and excellent rooms. This is a hotel where you get what you pay for, clean air-conditioned rooms with charm. The only thing missing is a bum gun for the toilet, but there may be a reason for this. The restaurant is quite excellent when open, and Jean claude... More

Very warm welcome by Donna, the Manager/owner. Great location, right in the centre of kampot. Great place to people watch and let the world go by.. Breakfast was great and included in the rate. Room was very comfortable, we had the Chinese room with the balcony. I would certainly stay here again if travelling through Kampot.
