I have been twice there and both times I've been treated in a really personal way. No problems related to anything. Peaceful and charming place. The location in really good. Away from the noise, but close enough to go walking easily.

I had a negative experience with an apparent misunderstanding at Pepper Guest House. I had walked in off the street looking for a place to stay for two nights at New Year's (starting the following night), and was offered an AC room for $10/night, as long as a fan was installed in place of the AC. I accepted, but when... More

Only stayed here for one night, I had just got off the bus from Sihanoukville and this was the first place that had any rooms, I went for the A/C room for $14 I think. The rooms are very ncie and clean, standard bathrooms for SE Asia, comfortable beds, but I had quite a lot of mozzies in my room... More

We stayed at the Pepper Guesthouse on Guesthouse Road (where a bunch of guesthouses are) and got a super lovely room for $10/night - it was the corner room on the second floor, so we had lots of natural light, plus we could easily hang out on the terrace right outside our room. The breakfasts at guesthouse are reasonably priced,... More

Maybe we are spoiled… But with a room rate of $15 we usually get our room cleaned daily at other hotels… We stayed for three nights and our room was not cleaned during our stay. Not that I care so much about a cleaned bathroom and fresh towels every day, but the garbage attracted ants and the floor could have... More

I stayed in two different rooms, both well furnished and good value for money. One on the first floor had windows on three sides and a semi private balcony. Some may have found this a bit noisy or public but I enjoyed the breezes. Breakfast was ok but slow, was advised not to eat dinner there as there are many... More

Looked great from the outside and especially appealing with the "free breakfast" sign outside the main gate. We stayed in the most expensive room for 2 nights - a bungalow for $20 a night, and had breakfast on both mornings. The staff seemed friendly and helpful during our stay. However, when we came to check out we were charged extra... More

Stayed for 10 days in April and although the guesthouse is clean and not too noisy, it absolutely lacks any personal appeal. The room I stayed in faced the restaurant and the car park, with louvre windows and fan at 9$ per night, so you wake up to either guests departing by car early in the morning or to guests... More
