Was recommended Cosy Elephant by a random fellow traveller and planned to stay only 2 nights, but found myself really liking the location and friendly staff, really nice neat room wit full on view of Bokor Mountain from balcony, easy moto hire, and positive, lively vibes off manager Soma, who is full of the best local knowledge you can trust.... We stayed there for 3 nights, 2 of them in number 7 which was a great room and there was no noise at all. We could even sleep without earplugs! You have a fan or an aircon (AC $15 and fan $8). There's a tv, dvd player and they have free dvd's. The room is huge, the bed is ok,... More

Arrived in Kampot and were brought down an muddy alleyway 2 mins walk away from the main bus stop. Found the place very easily and were shown a large room with 2 beds and a balcony which we took at once. Had some good chats with Wim, the Belgian guy who worked there, he had some good stories from living... More

I spent 3 weeks at the Cosy Elephant, as I was volunteering at one of the local schools. I had room 21 for $4 a night. Nice clean white sheets, new TV and own shower - good value. I used the free bikes every day to get out to the school - they were old sure, but didn't once let... More

Friendly staff, very good rooms, good location. The only point of critic that I have is that they should empty the bins in the bathroom, because they ask not to throw toilet paper in the toilet, but in the 5 nights we stayed there they did not empty it once. But still very good!

We were passing by Kampot and Cozy Elephant was just 100meters from bus stop. So we left our bags for few hours to have a look over the town. The host welcomed us very warm, was very attentive to us. When we were waiting for taxi - the administrator of the guesthouse was also very helpful sharing about local life.... More

This guesthouse has a hotel like feeling when entering the double (2rooms 3-4USD), triple (2rooms 6USD) (which can easily fit 4) or even the dorm room (1r/6beds 2,59USD per bed). Every bed has a sheet and a towel, the lights are subtle and the colors used are friendly. There is no bar or restaurant but you can have a drink... More

We were wandering by Kampot in Cambodia and stayed a couple of days at Cosy Elephant - a brand new guesthouse held by a very friendly French/American/Cambodian couple. The place is very clean and tidy. Very good price. The owners actually speak perfectly English / French / Khmer which was very useful since we were a bunch of international guys... More
