It's only been a few days since my girlfriend and I left our little paradise in Kampot and I already wish we were back! It is a bit outside of town, mind you, but we had no problems thoroughly exploring the whole region from Ganesha especially with a cheap $5 a day motorbike! We were supposed to stay three nights... This is a beautiful gem of a place, with gardens and river. I agree w other reviews that the rooms in the main house are likely to be a bit noisy since people congregate for breakfast or dinner, etc. We also remind those having breakfast early to be quiet. My husband daughter and I stayed in the tower and it was... More

This place is a real gem.. the staff incredible, the location so cool, the food AMAZING! (The Amok was to DIE for)... My only complaints are the Mosquitos ( tons even though I layered on the DEET) and how hot the upstairs room above the reception was. Everything else was perfect !

Staff are great and very helpful. We stayed in the main building which is above the main area where food is served and people talk. Typical hostel music is played til late and you can hear it crystal clear from the rooms even through earplugs! Also check where this is on a map before you book as it is a... More

We came from another hotel in area that didn't work out and Ganesha had 2 nights available in river yurt and were very efficient booking us in. The grounds is just superb and so peaceful. We loved our yurt overlooking the river. The restaurant was incredible!! I loved the passion fruit martini, the Kampot pepper margarita, and the pork parliament... More

We stayed at Ganesha Eco Resort for three nights and stayed in the $10 a night private rooms in the main house (shared bathroom). The resort and location is beautiful. The ride to get there is rustic and you get to enjoy the sunset over the mountains every night. The atmosphere is great and people are chill. It's very great... More

Me and my fiancé stayed at Ganesha a few weeks ago, and having had time to reflect on our experience, wanted to post a review. I'd like to say firstly that we did enjoy our stay at Ganesha, and felt it was a tranquil retreat after a busy time travelling through Vietnam. We just encountered a few incidents which took... Dear Mike S What a long review you wrote! We would prefer you developed more the positive points to be honest but negatives can help also to improve our service. Just a little precision, the first meal begins at $2.50 actually: Traditional Khmer omelet with a portion of rice and condiments. We have a very large menu to satisfy all... More

Me and my boyfriend are travelling through south East Asia and when we got to kampot we stayed here. It was amazing! Such a beautiful relaxed place. I could have easily stayed longer. It's a tiny bit more out of town but so worth it- it still easy to get around! The food is amazing and the staff were so... More

My fifteen year old and I voted Ganesha resort the best place, food, service and location of our 1 month trip through Cambodia. Stephanie has created a wonderful atmosphere with using local resources and having a great relationship with local and international staff. I absolutely loved the location as it is in the middle of farm land and you don't... More
