It was a simple guesthouse but it was clean and nice. We had a fan and the air conditioning. We only stayed there for a night, but it was just a short walk to the river front with all the restaurants. If you don't know where to eat or have a drink, go to Magic Sponge across the street!

We loved our 6 night stay at Orchid Guesthouse and could have happily stayed longer. It was comfortable, close to town, adequately clean and the food was great. Tun and his family/staff made our stay wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for Tun and he was helpful and always friendly. He organised bikes for us, sorted a driver in the... More

After searching around at a few places the orchid guesthouse suited the needs. I was traveling with 3 others looking to stay in dorm rooms but many places didn't have vacancy. They don't have dorms but we had a large room with 2 queen beds and 1 twin bed, large bathroom, and they even got us an extra fan. The... More

We stayed at the Orchid guesthouse for 3 nights in a standard room with fan for 13$ per night. The room was quite big and clean and had a private bathroom. There was also a TV and wifi in the room. The guesthouse was easy to find and was located really close to one of the main roads, so you... More

My husband and I stayed two nights at Orchid Guesthouse and for the price, it was one of the worst accommodations we had in Southeast Asia (and we're travelling for 3 months now). Pros: The owner let us check in early (8:00 am) which was very convenient. Quiet bungalow surrounded by a garden. The owner speaks english. It is conveniently... More

We only spent one night in this guesthouse and were told on arrival that they only had one room left. It was inexpensive so we agreed, but the room was spectacularly sub-par. We were not in the little bungalows but in a room near the front of the property, maybe more often used as an overflow as it had lots... More

Really nice and friendly place to stay! Easy walking distance from anything in town and really good for organising transport and treks. We took the trek to Bokor hill and it was a really fun day out! After that we got transport to Siem Reap which is a pretty massive trip but we were helped get the best result and... More

Good budget option; we stayed in a bungalow for 9$/night for 7 nights. It was big, two double beds, a lot of space, fan was good, water hot, clean so-so, one window didn't have a mosquito net, which is a minus since there was a lot of bugs at night and no net inside. The owners are friendly, we were... More

Pros: --Cheap, $10 (fan) $15 (AC) we didn't think AC was necessary --Hot shower --Friendly staff --Clean-ish. Clearly the room had been cleaned but it didn't totally feel clean. Paint chipping, cob webs, some stains on the floor, etc. but really nothing too bad. Cons: --Two big roaches about an inch and a half came from the bathroom. --Weirdly big,... More

The owner here is very accommodating and friendly. The room is basic, although we got two double beds which was nice. Bathroom is fine, warm ish water and the air con works well. Here are plenty of bars and eateries along this street but it's a short walk to the front if you prefer. The only thing was they misplaced... More
