5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I was traveling with my 2 daughters and we got an enormous ground floor room, totally quiet. We stayed three days and each day biked around Kampot on the free bikes the guesthouse provides. The Irish owner has built a woodturning pizza oven that turns out some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. The restaurant was closed the... More

I was welcomed by the owner an Irish guy, who thought of pretty well everything that a guest would desire. The room had a very comfy bed and a lovely bathroom. The garden area is large and one can just lounge around in great comfort. The best part however was being served the coldest beer anywhere in South East Asia...frosted... More

Tucked away in a quiet lane behind the main riverside, comfortable and safe, inexpensive air conditioned clean rooms. Very laid back vibe. The only minus point was the horrible sewage smell in the bathroom --tried opening the windows to get the smell out but it didn't work. Checked out another room and it had the same smell. Other than that,... More

twin room upstairs, AC, fan , usual, all working. 5 nights here, lots of sleep and breakfast menu was tasty and delicious. If you are leaving early, order the night before and that ensures fast service in the morning.

We spent 8 nights at Mea Culpa with our 4 children. Had 1 upstairs room & 1 down. Both were clean and well maintained - clean towels each day, water bottles each day, and the coffee making facility in the upstairs common area was an unexpected bonus. We had breakfast in the restaurant most days - delicious and cooked to... More

We stayed here for 2 days. The room pictured is the one we stayed in. $25 per night and it has river views and an expansive wrap around furnished balcony. The owner is absolutely delightful and make sure you try one of the wood fired oven pizzas - you can invent a pizza and choose your own toppings! This accommodation... More

Stayed 4 nights with my boyfriend and would definitely recommend, and certainly stay again. Overall a comfortable stay, and easy walk to main part of town. Room: Comfortable bed, soft towels, safe within a cupboard that also locks. Clean linens, room, bathroom. Bottled water each day was nice bonus. Fan and AC worked well, although the AC started dripping water... More

Air Conditioned & ceiling fan in my room as well. i only ate there once and had the pizza which was excellent and the beers were cheap which is always a plus. Will... More

We chose this guest house on the strength of its good reviews - all justified! Mea Culpa is in a lovely, calm garden setting with comfortable seating. Large rooms, lovely food (especially the pizza !) and attentive staff. They provide free cycles for use although it is only a 10 minute walk to the main 'hub' of town along a... More

We had stayed at Mea Culpa four years ago and chose it again. It is one block back from the main street and so nice and quiet with no scooter traffic. The building is colonial style with an attractive eating terrace set beside a green garden. We had a twin room on the second floor. The rooms open onto a... More
