The accommodation tents are very comfortable and well-appointed with indoor and outdoor showers, and an outside deck where you can sit and take full advantage of the views over the river valley below to the ridge beyond. We were able to watch Elephant, Lesser Kudu, Dik-dik and a wide range of birds just outside the tent. The central areas are... More

We've visited Tarangire last week. It's awesome. The rooms are fine and the outdoor shower is fun. we met Very nice guests from all over the world at the dinner table. The food was very good. You can skip the night drive, but not the Walking Safari. We enjoyed our stay very much :) Thank you

This was our first stop on a 16 day Tanzanian safari. The camp is semi-permanent and very well appointed. The tent is more like a thatched cottage, very spacious with flush toilet, solar heated indoor and outdoor showers. The food in the main public area was excellent, with meals taken around a long communal table. The all inclusive wine and... More

Oliver's was such an incredible experience! Jackie and Austin were perfect hosts with genuine smiles always concerned if we were enjoying ourselves. How could we not? With the expert guiding of Milton and Emanuel we learned so much about the flora and fauna of Tarangire as well as seeing so many animals!! Emanuel had such an eye for spotting wildlife... More

When you ever want to go on a safari once in your life, north Tanzania is the place to go. Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, it is the top of the bill. We booked a safari that brought us to the locations of our choice with a personal guide/driver. It was certainly not our first safari but it was the best we... More

We stayed here for two nights and just loved it. The game viewings in the park are amazing and the scenery simply beautiful. Loved the rooms which are like very posh tents with your own bathroom and lovely out door showers. At night you here the animals around you, it's amazing, we saw two elephants walk right in front of... More

It was my first time in Tarangire and we stayed at Oliver's Camp because we wanted to do some walking in a more remote part of the park. Tarangire is a gem of a park. Our arrival and game drive through the park offered up two herds of at least 500 buffalo apiece, a herd of several hundred zebra and... More

This was our first tented camp on our safari and what a great first experience! Tarangire is not as well known as some of the other parks but this was a find. We almost saw everything in this park (leopards, tree climbing lions, elephants, cheetahs, birds, etc). The camp was great (we were in tents 9 and 10 I believe... More

Oliver's Camp was our first camp experience, and what an experience it was! We saw so many animals in Tarangire National Park on the drive to Oliver's Camp, and then on each of the game drives after that. Plus, we had a great experience on the walking safari, an experience not to be missed. Jackie and Justin, the camp managers,... More
