This was a great camp for our first safari experience. Comfortable and well equipped lodge tents with indoor and outdoor showers, together with the all important after dark escort when moving around camp (the photos from the camp's night cameras were eye opening!) It's a slick operation and the managers were most convivial and worked hard to make the stay... More

We just returned from a 16 day safari in Tanzania and Kenya and we agreed that this was our favorite place to stay, along with Rekero Camp in Kenya, which is another Asilia Africa property. Justin and Jackie were the consummate hosts- helpful, informative, good humored and genuinely intent on making sure that all of the guests had everything they... More

We stayed at Little Oliver's Camp May 25-27, 2015. It was the best two nights of our 2-week safari. The camp host Julie was charming and welcoming. We enjoyed our fireside chats with her very much. The candlelit evenings were magical. Camp guide Kheto was absolutely brilliant. His depth of knowledge and keen eye for wildlife exceeded our high expectations.... More

This was the start of my safari and a great way to get acquainted with everything about the bush. The camp is really in the bush with animals around but that is what makes it so charming. The tents are very spacious and lovely to just spend time drinking in the atmosphere. The food was incredible considering you are in... More

excellent food both at dinner and breakfast. the communal feast was very tasty and the accompanying dinner was high-energy, but not too much. the "tent" we stayed at was also excellent with an indoor/outdoor shower and a comfortable/private deck area. the staff were very friendly and we particularly enjoyed watching the "night cam" video of visiting animals in the morning.... Starts at the top. The manager appears to be so bored there it is reflected in all his conversations and leadership. Staff excellent. He joins people for dinner but is just negative. Nice location but a little to "rustic" for us.

Everything is wonderful. The "tent" is more like a bungalow, the food incredible for the location, as well as managing the camp Jason and Jackie are up to greet the earliest guests for breakfast and stay with the dinner party until the last guest heads for their bed. The walking safari was the highlight of our stay in Africa. Lions... More

Little Oliver's Camp is located in a remote part of Tarangire, on a hill where you can watch elephants and other animals from your tent. This is one of the most magical places I've visited in my life. Alex, the head of the camp, is warm and welcoming, and led us on an amazing walking safari. He is extremely knowledgeable... More

During our safari trip to Serengeti and surrounds, we stayed in four tented camps and Oliver's was the best. The rave reviews are justified. The dinner was top notch. The food would do justice to a 4 (our of 5) star restaurant. Breakfast was quite good, with a hot egg item provided. Remember that this is tented camp deep inside... More

Oliver's Camp was a unique experience. I enjoyed the "family style" dining experience, giving us a chance to listen to others' experiences and getting to know who is in the camp. Jackie and Jason are so welcoming and engaging. I felt that if I needed something, they would try to help. Food was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds... More
