excellent food both at dinner and breakfast. the communal feast was very tasty and the accompanying dinner was high-energy, but not too much. the "tent" we stayed at was also excellent with an indoor/outdoor shower and a comfortable/private deck area. the staff were very friendly and we particularly enjoyed watching the "night cam" video of visiting animals in the morning.... Starts at the top. The manager appears to be so bored there it is reflected in all his conversations and leadership. Staff excellent. He joins people for dinner but is just negative. Nice location but a little to "rustic" for us.

Everything is wonderful. The "tent" is more like a bungalow, the food incredible for the location, as well as managing the camp Jason and Jackie are up to greet the earliest guests for breakfast and stay with the dinner party until the last guest heads for their bed. The walking safari was the highlight of our stay in Africa. Lions... More

Little Oliver's Camp is located in a remote part of Tarangire, on a hill where you can watch elephants and other animals from your tent. This is one of the most magical places I've visited in my life. Alex, the head of the camp, is warm and welcoming, and led us on an amazing walking safari. He is extremely knowledgeable... More

During our safari trip to Serengeti and surrounds, we stayed in four tented camps and Oliver's was the best. The rave reviews are justified. The dinner was top notch. The food would do justice to a 4 (our of 5) star restaurant. Breakfast was quite good, with a hot egg item provided. Remember that this is tented camp deep inside... More

Oliver's Camp was a unique experience. I enjoyed the "family style" dining experience, giving us a chance to listen to others' experiences and getting to know who is in the camp. Jackie and Jason are so welcoming and engaging. I felt that if I needed something, they would try to help. Food was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds... More

Visited Olivers Camp in Tarangire over New Years, had an absolutely fantastic time! The camp is great, big and spacious tents and the most amazing out door showers, the tents are also far enough from each other so you have privacy. The managers are great there, very attentive and very knowledgeable. The staff and guides at the camp are also... More

Love the outdoor showers, attentive service and super-comfortable tents. Excellent guided walking opportunities too - amazing way to see this beautiful national park. My guides Milton and Josh had very impressive naturalist knowledge and contagious enthusiasm. Incredible place and people - definitely going back!!

Oliver's Camp was my first stop on my first-ever safari and I was immediately blown away. The location is beautiful, with an incredible view over a valley which is constantly offering a peek at one group of animals or another making their way to the river. Justin and Jackie were great hosts, very kind and accommodating and I immediately felt... More

We spent 3 nights at Oliver's camp and would gladly have stayed longer. We were met at the airstrip by our marvellous guide Joshua who took us straight on a fantastic drive, cheetahs/lions/amazing birds etc with a stop for a scrumptious picnic lunch with a lovely view - we had only arrived from the UK that morning but were quickly...
