We stayed only one night at TarangireTreetops, and it was not long enough for a couple of reasons. The main reason that I wish we could have stayed longer, was that the hotel itself was amazing, from the enormous tree rising through the middle of the reception area (with its little bat inhabitants), to the fantastic room and brilliant staff.... This was the first hotel/camp we stayed in during our safari trip in Tanzania, and we really enjoyed it!! The rooms spare no expense in comfort and amenities, the food is delicious and varied, the service is highly personalized and attentive, and the local Massai guides that walk to to your room/tent put on quite a show. Highly recommended!! PS.... More

We stayed at Treetops Hotel for one night and it was an incredible experience. The room was big, clean, well decorated. There are two showers and two sinks, each one equipped with soap, body lotion etc that smell very good....everything is just amazing. Each room has a terrace where you can enjoy sunset and the tarangire view. We syated in... More

We drove down from Arusha and while on the way along the rutted dirt road, I had my doubts about what the Treetops could possibly be like. The road was bumpy in mid March and I wondered how the Treetops in the pictures could really be there in real life. It definitely was! We stayed for two nights and just... More

This is an incredible luxury lodge where you can sleep in the trees. It is located on the east side of Tarangire National Park, just outside the border. It is far enough into the park that it is best to stay for 2 nights and then either fly to the Serengeti, or drive to Lake Manyara or Ngorongoro (not drive... More

Cool, unexpected, luxurious, spectacular...We stayed for 2 nights and were treated very well. With our sky safari package we had a butler here. Nicolas, was a gentleman and nothing was too much to ask for. From packing cool towels when out on safari to waking us up with coffee and tea, to bringing us two different bottles of wine for... My wife and two teenaged children stayed at Treetops for two nights in late December, 2012. We tried to stay three days but the lodge was sold out when we made our reservations. The accommodations were really well done and beautiful. The hardwoods were exquisite. Each cottage had incredible privacy and was situated such that you could hardly glimpse one... More

We stayed here after almost 3 weeks in Kenya and Tanzania. What a delightful surprise. Make no mistake about it, the hotel is the main attraction. The lodge is built around a 6-700 hundred year old baobab tree and the lobby, bar area, and dining areas are open, spacious, comfortable and wonderfully appointed. The rooms are enormous and most are also... More

AMAZING 8 days 7 nights SkySafari by Elewana for our honeymoon. If you are thinking of doing the northern circuit of Tanzanian National Parks, I absolutely recommend SkySafari. Parts of this article was written during the trip whenever I had time. Flown with Cessna private plane from Arusha to Tarangire. First day game drive at Tarangire National Park. Saw elephants,... What a camp - absolutely stunning in the middle of the buffer zone between Tarangire Park and the Masai farmlands. The rooms are spectacular - tree houses, suspended in the most majestic baobabs of gargantuan size and splendor. Inside the rooms - well, you won't be disappointed. The beds, linen, bathroom and living area are all well appointed. You have... More
