It was nice to be able to walk around and have something to do but you would be better off staying someplace else. $120 a night. The room they put me up in was and upgrade made by the manager. This was told to me by the desk clerk. The next morning I told the desk clerk that the room... More

OK - my readers know I prefer to stay within walking distance of good local fare and unique haberdasheries. It has been a while since I'd stayed in downtown Greensboro. The gentrification and revitalization that seemed full speed ahead 6 - 8 years ago has - well, stalled. So saying, there isn't much to choose from when staying downtown and... More

Yes noise is a issue and i have addressed it with the owners and the city. I true wish there was something that i could do about it, put alas there is not. Some of the windows are being replaced soon. Best wishes and safe travels. More

My husband and I stayed here for one evening as we were passing through Greensboro. We are very familiar with the town and so were excited to stay right downtown in what looked to be a real charming hotel. We have stayed many places and never have we been in a hotel that was louder than this one. Our night... More

Take a step back in time with all the modern amenities. This hotel has been beautifully restored and gives guests the feeling of old time Southern charm. The desk staff and attendants are all so nice and helpful (even at 3am for wake up call and check out). Each room is unique but all have high ceilings and nice bathrooms.... More

The first time I stayed in this hotel was in January of 2015. I was there on business and had meetings at the University. This hotel was the closest to the University and looked unique and charming online. I stayed in a single traveler room on the second floor. The window in my room looked out onto an alley. In... This is nice! Very comfortable and in walking distance to many restaurants. Close to UNCG campus. The hotel is in a charming older building, not a new palace surrounded by commercial sprawl. This is a place to experience accomodations with a flair. Parking is in a garage across the street. No malls or other eyesores in sight. Vibrant Greenboro just... More

Had an excellent stay at The Biltmore for a Girls's Getaway April 7th-11th. Check in was a breeze at 1 am in the morning. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I return to Greensboro. The hotel was very clean, our beds were very comfortable, the breakfast as good as any at home and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. It... More

My husband and I (and our dog Bear) stayed here for 4 nights. We knew it was going to be a great stay as soon as we walked into the hotel and met the hotel assistant manager, Brian. Very welcoming, and personable. Brian even treated our dog like a VIP...offering a dog bed to be delivered to our door and... More

This hotel meets all the requirements for any traveler. Great in-town location, warm friendly staff, ample parking, spacious rooms with high ceilings (comfortable beds), breakfast and a wine & cheese evening gathering, all for a great value. Stayed with family, had two rooms on first floor. Simply a wonderful experience, would highly recommend. This will be my only choice of... More

Very characterful hotel with period furnished rooms - very boutique but practicalities need some attention. No plug in the wash hand basin, five minutes or more for the hot water to appear, no accessible electrical points for one's gadgets. A thorough refit would make this a great place to stay.

Thank you for your encouragement and kind words! We are currently upgrading rooms with more outlets for guests devises. Being the first building in downtown to be fulling wired for electricity, we are know in a age of devises and we must meet the times and keep our charm.
