Staying at this little hotel is taking a step back into time. My experience was very good, with parking within a few feet of the hotel, interesting little restaurants nearby and a front desk staff that aims to please. Within walking distance of the Federal Courthouse. Granted, it is old and quaint, but I enjoyed it. Beautifully decorated for Christmas.... more

This is a historical, quaint hotel located in downtown Greensboro. Parking is free. The rooms on the first floor, available for viewing, are really nice. However, the upstairs rooms are very basic, and the beds very uncomfortable. They should spend a bit to upgrade the mattresses to make this an enjoyable place to stay. more

i mean... ok... it's a little frayed at the seams, but i found this hotel to be totally cute. the room i stayed in was beautiful, large and full of character. the plumbing worked, there was coffee, a small kitchen we could access, nice staff, comfy beds, and a cool bohemian chic vibe. modern it is not, but it's a... more

I was a little nervous because of previous reviews, but I loved the place. WARNING: if you love chain hotels because they are predictable, you may not like the Biltmore so much. Example: to get ice, you go to the front desk, not a machine. The place is beautiful, has magnificent rugs and distinctive furniture in each room. If you... more

I booked this place sight unseen for an anniversary with my girlfirend, and reading about the hotel on this site made me a little worried. Long story short, this place was awsome. I have traveled all over Europe and staying in the Biltmore reminded me of some of the older hotels I've stayed in in Europe. You simply will not... more

Old-world charm. High ceilings, grand furniture, attention to detail make this a prime spot in the downtown. I was getting reading to go out for a Saturday night, when some Spanish wine, strong cheese and crisp crackers lured me into the main room. Stayed an hour and chatted with other guests. I'd read the earlier rants about the place. Maybe... more

A few weeks ago I stumbled on this site and was surprised at the reviews for this little hotel. So when I wrote the previous review I stated I was going to be staying there again and would look much closer this time and post my experience. I stayed on the second floor this time and the room was just... more

Nothing can be said for this hotel. Without going into the entire experience, know that this is NOT a reputable place to stay. I have made complaints to the Better Business Bureau, The Chamber of Commerce, our credit card company, the Greensboro Convention and Visitors Bureau, and will continue to complain to anyone who will listen in order to keep... more

looks "quaint and cute" but this is a terrible place. Staff really try to make it work, but the owner is defensive, evasive, and the hotel is absolutely awful. Don't stay here. more
