Located in downtown Greensboro, this is a cozy hotel once owned by Gloria Vanderbilt is a nice value for money. Comfortable rooms with in room coffee maker, mini refrigerator and a royal bed of solid wood. Unlike chain hotels, you will love the bed, room, hotel and location. Only issue I faced is not a lot of options for your... More

I would suggest asking for a room away from the alley due to the bar having parties on the patio and emptying trash at very late hours. If you do not like small places I would suggest asking for a room on the 1st floor as the elevator is like a closet.

Thank you for your review. Being downtown does cause a little extra noise. Our elevator is the first electric elevator in the city...most people love it. Hope to see you again. More

Wanted to give this a good rating because everyone there was so very kind. However, both rooms that I experienced during my trip were way below acceptable standards. Location is great, especially if you're arriving by train - hotel is walkable from the train station. Place has a quaint, hipster/fancy look to it when you arrive. There's plenty of food... More

Thank you for your honest report...I as the GM for this property are ashamed that you didn't find our property to be to your liking. I have spoken with our housekeeping staff. Should you decide to use our property again i promise you will not find these issues again. Safe travels. More

Me and some friends from out of state were looking for a decent room downtown at a decent price and the biltmore hit the nail on the head. Cool old hotel, nice rooms, staff was very polite and professional. Will definitely be back.

The Biltmore is a conveniently located blast from the past in Downtown Greensboro. The rooms are comfortable and the decor in the common areas remind one of another age. The staff was very friendly and helpful during my stay.

Enjoyed my stay in this nice, clean, downtown location. Walking distance to nice eateries, pubs and shops. So nice to hear of the history that this charming little place brings with it. I loved knowing that the elevator is older than I am. Complementary parking is also a plus.

Fantastic location near the downtown shopping area. The interior is a little worn, but that just adds comforting feel. The staff is friendly and willing to provide recommendations on things to do and places to eat.

A gem of a find if you are staying in the Greensboro area...more than 30 restaurants within walking distance, very friendly staff, free parking, and a wonderfully tasty breakfast! This historic hotel is well kept and well managed...something different from the usual hotels! We will definitely stay again when in the area.

I have stayed at the Biltmore Greensboro several times and have never been disappointed! It is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Greensboro. If you like the feel of a boutique hotel without the high rates, this is the place for you. Wine receptions in the early evening and breakfasts featuring local bakery items is always appreciated.

I did enjoy my stay. I didnt know it was right in the heart of downtown where the nightclubs are located. Great walking distance for food and nightlife. The main thing that was wrong was was having to use the steps after the elevator went out. But guest services did assist me with my belongings and made my trip a... More

We are located in the heart of downtown, so the city is at your fingertips. Our elevator is the first electric elevator in the city and it is on a very strict maintenance schedule, but on a rare occasion that it does have a "hick-up" then we are always happy to help! Safe Travels and hope to see you again... More
