We recently used The Biltmore as our recommended hotel for my daughter's wedding. Guests came from all over and all enjoyed the ambiance and charm of this hotel. It is located right in the downtown district, a walk away from restaurants, shopping and many venues for weddings and events. We plan on returning, just to enjoy the weekend getaway!

Beautiful old building with plenty of modern amenities, and extra touches like a wine tasting in the evening and a great continental breakfast spread with fresh locally made pastries. There was a bachelorette party there the night we stayed and I was worried that we'd be disturbed, but once our door was closed I did not hear them. There was... More

Very Friendly people who work there Pretty good WiFi and the Rooms were very clean, the complementary Breakfast was good, and Basic. It is located very close to shopping and Restaurants. The Front sitting room was small but had a good view of the outside. Only thing I didn't like was the Old Caged Elevator- but I'll stay there again.

Excellent service, the rooms are lovely- and right in the middle of town! The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable. Some people might find it "old fashioned" but if you look you will find everything modern hotels offer

Historical - meaning old! But very regal, and well taken care of. Great small staff; seemed to be very proud of their workplace and what they do. Were very helpful when I asked them about the breweries within walking distance - of which there are quite a few! Great little breakfast, good coffee. I would stay there again! Thoroughly enjoyed... We were treated very kindly. Hotel has a lot of charm and location was fantastic! We were given the rooms we requested. Breakfast was available the next morning in the breakfast room and was very good.

The hotel was easy to find with great parking just across the street. All of the people we talked to were very nice & helpful. The bathrooms are older as one would expect in such a historic place, but I didn't come there to take a bubble bath. It was very charming. The vintage elevator took some getting used to,... More

I expected an older hotel, but too many things weren't updated. New TVs, but carpet and furniture very old (not antiques). Bedspreads nice, but mattress terrible. Bathrooms need updating too. Rooms very small for the price and noisy. Lobby was a nice place to relax, but they didn't put out 6 pm wine as advertised. Breakfast was good with fresh... More

Very nice older, smaller property with exceptional personnel that will engage you in conversation. Slow, fascinating elevator, creaky floors and early 20th century charm. This hotel is not for those seeking room service but is fantastic for visitors to Greensboro that want to stay in the "heart" of the city.
