There are only a couple downtown hotels, this 'boutique' hotel is just around the corner from lots of good restaurants on Elm Street, near a couple theaters, and walkable to the fun minor league Grasshoppers baseball park. The hotel is charming, but shows its age a bit, especially with the creaky floors and beds. Lovely old (and very fast) elevator.... More

The Biltmore hotel was absolutely charming. Nice vintage hotel that had a lot of original furnishings. Yes some things needed a little updating but that would take away from the overall feel of the hotel. Service was amazing, continental breakfast was very nice. Plenty of options and great bakery goods from a local bakery. The location was right in the... More

This is an old building in the heart of downtown so easy walk to theater and restaurants. However, maintenance is desperately needed. Front steps are badly frayed and main entrance door looks to have been kicked in. Room was decent enough, but the shower has zero water pressure and temperature fluctuates badly. That alone prevents me from returning nor recommending... More

Thank you for your honest reveiw. In response to your concern of the facsade...there was a Blue Bird taxi that ran into the front of the building a couple of weeks ago. I apologize for the way that the front looks! The plumbing in our 111 year old bulding is mostly orignal so there may be a fluctuation due to... More

What a charming place to stay in downtown Greensboro! Anyone who loves historic downtowns including the use of ride an old-fashioned elevator will enjoy this historic hotel. You are nearby the best restaurants, brew pubs and coffee shops in the city instead the chain restaurants in the sprawl belt surrounding Greensboro. In exchange for authenticity you may spot a piece... More

Stayed in the King room and it had about 15' high ceiling and wood floor entrance into the room. Bathroom was small but remodeled. Loved the old, brass gated elevator(you don't see them like this anymore). The hotel was within walking distance to many local restaurants, bars, clubs and theaters. Parking deck is right across the street from the hotel.... More

After reading several reviews of this property, I had a few trepidations about making a reservation, which I ended up doing, as I wanted to be right downtown near the restaurants and bars. I must tell you that I was pleasantly surprised. The old character of the Inn was what I would have expected. The room was perfect for me... More

We stayed here for one night in the Canopy King room. The room was large with a huge canopy bed. The hotel has a lovely period-style lobby where wine and cheese is served in the evening (excellent wine!). There is a separate modern dining area for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were happy to give us... More

I was looking for a place close the ballpark and decided to stay at the Biltmore Greensboro. It is a small hotel tucked into a row of businesses and is nondescript façade can make it hard to find if you are not paying attention. Parking is provided in the garage across the street, but you can stop out front of... More

We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We to find issue with the noise that is casued by the traffic downtown on the weekends. We are also in the process of having the windows replaced to hopefully combat the extra noise, but given the historical nature of the property it is proving to be more that... More

I was in the area attending a dog event in Burlington but I could not find any decent hotels that would allow my three dogs. I was relieved to find this place when I was scrambling for a reservation! Thank you for staying with us. I have addressed the issues that you stated with our Maintainence Mananger and those are being taking care of.
