This is an older hotel building with standard rooms. Hotel staff were pleasant during reservations and check-in. Lumpy soft beds are covered with outdated bedspreads. Sheets and towels are rough with an industrial feel. Furniture is dated, dingey and unsteady. The remote control and air unit were held together with packing tape.

Hello, My wife and I stayed at your hotel this weekend. I wanted to reach out to you all with a complaint. We arrived at the hotel on Friday night and left early Saturday and we were gone all day. When we arrived back at the hotel we found that our hotel room door was not closed properly. When we... More

Taking my granddaughters to the Junior Olympics this summer, I found many hotels already booked or very expensive. Battleground was in the AAA book, so I gave it a try. I liked that it was a hotel with inside doors and a lobby. The rooms were normal hotel rooms and were clean. The staff was pleasant. The continental breakfast was... More

We had a very good experience here, at a very reasonable price. The bed was quite comfortable, including the sheets and pillow cases. Our room had a small refrigerator and a microwave as well. The room and bathroom were immaculate. The towels could have been a little thicker and the decor was a little dated, but it was a very... More

The Battleground Inn is in a great location for exploring the City. But... this hotel needs a lot of upgrading to compete with the price conscience chains. Bed linens are scratchy and our room was drab and even a bit depressing, though clean. Definitely not for a princess and the pea.The staff was friendly and helpful but the rooms do... More

The hotel was very clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The staff treated us like... More

I'm a self employed artist who travels to meet with clients. Whenever I am in Greensboro this is my home away from home. My requirements are simple: Safety, cleanliness, quiet and economy. Battleground Inn is everything that I require. Breakfast is continental - but juice, coffee, toast, muffins, etc. are all that I need to get started in the morning... More

It is an average motel with a good price. It is clean and comfortable. The beds are soft and worn but not excessively but the pillows are very flat. The motel is clean and the staff is courteous. The continental breakfast is poor - just the very basics. Two types of cereal, milk and juice and a few pastries and... More

I have stayed here many times, I live in Greensboro and whenever the power was out, we came here, friends in town sent them here. Recently I had to spend a weekend here personally. This place works so hard to make your stay perfect, it really shows. An older hotel, with an owner that is fixing up the place, "painting... More

. Thank you for my stay at the Battlefield Inn, I met the owners at breakfast and they were exceptionally friendly. They really went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and to make my stay enjoyable.
