Front door says that, for safety reasons, main door will be locked at 11pm every night, if you come in after 11pm, ring buzzer and desk staff will let you in. This past Saturday I came in from dinner with 2 other guests after midnight. Doors were wide open and the guy at the front desk didn't even look up... More

What a great value! An excellent price for: a clean, comfortable, quiet room; good location (lots of cool restaurants within a mile or two, close to hospital and the Park); friendly staff. The breakfast is just cereal and some pastries. It's not the Ritz, but. . .read my first sentence!

Made reservation on-line. When arrived at hotel, they had no record. Since the hotel was almost empty, that was not a problem. They had advertised access to a fitness location, that does not exist. Water pressure was almost not existent, the sink almost overflowed because of poor draining. The towels were extremely limp. Breakfast was terrible. No tea.

WIthin less than 24 hours after making my reservation was American Express card that I used to secure the reservation was fraudulently used. The only place I've used it in weeks is Battleground Inn. Fortunately AE recognized the activity and froze the card. I think I will just have to make reservations elsewhere!

Checked in to a nearly empty hotel and was given a corner room. The room had a desk and chair which was inches away from the bed. It smelled so badly of mold that both my husband and my allergies were affected. We almost left after the first night but decided to stay. On the day we were checking out,... More

The Battleground Inn was very poor!! It definitely needs a makeover! The "complementary" breakfast was awful and very few options. In the rooms, the beds were lumpy and the pillows were flat! We had to order up to 5 to 6 extra pillows just to make ourselves comfortable. The rooms appear clean but looks can be deceiving. THERE WERE ANTS... More

This is an older hotel building with standard rooms. Hotel staff were pleasant during reservations and check-in. Lumpy soft beds are covered with outdated bedspreads. Sheets and towels are rough with an industrial feel. Furniture is dated, dingey and unsteady. The remote control and air unit were held together with packing tape.

Hello, My wife and I stayed at your hotel this weekend. I wanted to reach out to you all with a complaint. We arrived at the hotel on Friday night and left early Saturday and we were gone all day. When we arrived back at the hotel we found that our hotel room door was not closed properly. When we... More

Taking my granddaughters to the Junior Olympics this summer, I found many hotels already booked or very expensive. Battleground was in the AAA book, so I gave it a try. I liked that it was a hotel with inside doors and a lobby. The rooms were normal hotel rooms and were clean. The staff was pleasant. The continental breakfast was... More

We had a very good experience here, at a very reasonable price. The bed was quite comfortable, including the sheets and pillow cases. Our room had a small refrigerator and a microwave as well. The room and bathroom were immaculate. The towels could have been a little thicker and the decor was a little dated, but it was a very... More
