I've stayed here twice now because the place is cheap and close to the airport. I should state for the record that both visits were mid-week. Keep that in mind as you read the review. The first time, the place was as expected: inexpensive, the rooms were clean, and they didn't smell like cigarette smoke in the non-smoking room. I... More

We were looking for a cheap option and what a mistake ! The room smells a bit moldy, dark carpets that I would not step on it with my barefoot. Restroom sink is not really clean, just a sad bar soap, no shampoo, ugh! whatever! we didn't not expect much. And the worst of all , the spring of my... More

We stopped for the night on our trip to the beach. The people at the desk were friendly and the price was great. The rooms were just basic rooms nothing fancy but were clean and in good shape. This was the nicest budget hotel we ve stayed in.

I am a traveling salesman and stay in budget motels and extended stays on a regular. I have used Motel 6 on several occasions and have always had a good experience. You have to realize that you are staying in a budget motel. The room was very spacious with 2 queen size beds (didnt need 2 beds however that was... More

My family and I wanted something clean and inexpensive en route to our vacation in South Carolina so after a long day of driving we stopped at this hotel - I've never stayed at a Motel 6 and this will be the last time. One would think that a large hotel chain would have standards applicable to their hotels -... More

I've stayed here several times while in town on business but this was the very last time I will stay here. Thankfully I travel with my boxer and felt a lot safer having him with me. There were oodles of shady-looking/homeless characters hanging around and that freaked me out. I tried to keep in well-lit areas when walking my pooch.... More

this motel was one of the worst stays on our road trip! The hallways smelled of food, they take in homeless folks, but only coffee for their guests.Shoney's was next door so we ate there.Cigarette smoke was thick but we got a non smoking room so it helped.

The rooms are HUGE and quite a value at $40. The clientele is also rather large, say XL or XXL, white, tatooed, and drivers of monster trucks, with very loud mouths. It's Honey Boo-Boo Land! As usual with Motel 6, you get free coffee in the morning, but I will reiterate: I have never seen a Motel 6 with rooms... More

Visually not very appealing. Room was clean. Small spider in shower next morning. Bed was comfortable, room temp was perfect. Good nights sleep. Shower could have had a little more pressure, but was pretty good. Location had many restaurant choices. Price was GREAT!

This is a clean hotel. I would have enjoyed it more if I'd gotten the no smoking room I'd reserved. The front desk clerk seemed overwhelmed with 3 customers. Some complained that the power had gone out in their room. One guy seemed like a drug dealer as he told the clerk he always pays in cash and wants no... More
