Before arriving to the Twin Lake Lodge, I read the many reviews which just raved about their stay. Our stay was beyond amazing. This little getaway is tuck in the city of Greensboro yet you feel miles away in the country. Anita was the perfect hostess. The breakfast was amazing. We stayed in the Penthouse and we just felt so... More

Enjoyed two nights at Twin Lakes Lodge. Don't miss this if you are in town. Anita is a wonderful hostess and the breakfast she will make for you is great. Location is wonderful and the room was super.

We live locally and wanted a one night getaway close to home, however, I never thought we would find such a retreat in Greensboro! Having experienced B&B's before I will have to say this one has been the best. I especially love how breakfast is brought to your room so you don't have to get dressed and walk to the... More

Awesome bed and breakfast with breakfast served right in your room. We were on our way to Nags Head for vacation and picked this as our half way point. We had just had our 33rd anniversary so we wanted to do something special. And this was special. Anita is a wonderful woman and really took care of us.

We recently stayed in the Penthouse suite for an anniversary getaway. The room was lovely and romantic. Anita was warm and welcoming and made us the most amazing french toast for breakfast. We had a wonderful stay and found The Twin Lakes Lodge to be the perfect little getaway spot.

We stayed in The Penthouse Suite. Beautiful view of the lake and very romantic, peaceful and secluded environment. In room amenities were top notch. Delicious private breakfast outside overlooking the lake. The owner was very in tune to our needs and made the entire place feel inviting. Will be coming back!

Over all it was a nice stay, other than a not-restful night. I can't imagine a $120-$200 a night B&B having HARD, FAT pillows and no option of a down pillow or anything close to it. I sometimes bring my own pillow when traveling for this reason but didn't when we spent this much for a B&B.

My apologies that you weren't comfortable with the "hard" pillow in the Mariner's Waterview Room. That pillow is a Temperature Balancing Sleep Pillow that was the most expensive pillow in the accommodation!!! There were extra pillows, which are much softer, in the room closet. I would have gladly addressed the problem, had I known it. I have removed that pillow... More

My mom and I needed a place to stay during the Furniture Market in High Point. By the time we started looking the options were VERY VERY slim. I found Twin Lakes Lodge on-line and decided to send an email to Anita. I am so glad I did. She had just had a cancellation and we got in! We had... More

My husband & I stayed the night on 4/25. What a pleasant relaxing night! Check in was @3 however we arrived closer to 4. Anita (the proprietor & inn-keeper) warmly greeted us and said let's worry about checking you in when you check out! That was my 1st appreciation for a b&b-the simplicity of it all. We were taken to... More
