My husband and I chose to stay at the Troy-Bumpas Inn Bed and Breakfast for a night while in Greensboro, NC for a show at the Carolina Theater. I had researched ahead and saw the great reviews they had on Facebook. I was excited to see that they were located 1 mile (3 minute Uber) from the Carolina Theater. When... More

We came for our daughter's birthday in October and found this quaint comfortable inn. They were very gracious to accomodate our daughter, who stayed in our room one night on a very comfortable cot. The breakfast was great and included a homemade granola, yogurt and fresh fruit bar one of the mornings with a yummy egg dish. The next day... More

Having stayed for 8 nights at this B&B in December while visiting family living nearby, we want to pay tribute to the excellence of innkeepers Judy and Larry Horn. Other reviewers who have focussed on the inn being 'clean' and having great breakfasts have not done them justice. This couple have chosen to run this B&B after careers in other... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We were attending a concert at the Greensboro Coliseum. The B&B is very clean, quiet, close to downtown for shopping, restaurants, and the Coliseum. Larry and Judy were very helpful with suggestions for restaurants nearby. They also were accommodating to our request to have breakfast a little early having to leave... More

My family and I enjoyed two wonderful nights in this amazing bead & breakfast. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The breakfasts were delicious and quite a treat. We felt pampered and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The complimentary snacks in the lounge were a nice touch. We enjoyed watching a few movies from the DVD library as... More

Friendly, helpful hosts; wonderful food (don't forget to try their homemade granola!) lovely room, excellent location--what more could you want? Oh and the history--with its former days as a home, the office of newspaper and a boarding house, beginning before the Civil War, you may feel like you have stepped into the past.

After reading many reviews about this Bed and Breakfast we made a reservation. The location is wonderful; near UNCG. Greensboro is my hometown but its been 17 years since I lived there and I was excited to see its location. The owners are extremely accommodating and reviewed all we needed for our stay. We stayed in the Lota Room. How... More

We spent a lovely night on our way home from a family wedding. We arrived early and were offered the opportunity to leave our bags while we explored the historic area and relaxation in the cozy living room until our room was ready. Upon leaving for the train station the next morning, Larry ran out into the rain to bring... More

If you don't take the opportunity to have an extremely nice and quiet stay at Troy-Bumpas Inn Bed and Breakfast then you are an idiot. Not only is this place situated in a residential neighborhood but it is close to a lot of downtown attractions and the highway if you need to get the highway for some reason rather quickly.... More
