My husband surprised me with a one night getaway at the Troy-Bumpas Inn for Valentine's Day. I couldn't have dreamed of a better gift. The room was amazing, the breakfast incredible, and the owners were so friendly! I highly recommend staying here - even if you live in Greensboro like we do! We can hardly wait to stay at the... We had a fabulous room and a delicious breakfast. Our hosts gave us great recommendations for local dining and sights to see. The Christmas lights around town were like nothing we'd ever seen before -- they hung in trees as if suspended from nowhere.

Greensboro is rapidly become famous for it's Christmas Light Balls displays, but not everyone knows about them -- yet-- so we mention them to all our December guests. We're glad seeing the display was a memorable experience. We're also pleased you enjoyed your stay at the Troy-Bumpas Inn B&B. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with others!... More

My wife and I decided to see a concert at the Carolina Theatre in Greensboro so instead of driving home we decided to stay at the Troy-Bumpas Inn. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival. Great people. Got us settled in and gave us great advice on where to eat and where to park. One of the best meals... More

What a delightful find! We were looking for a relaxing getaway and could not have been more pleased with the experience provided by Larry and Judy at the Troy-Bumpas Inn B&B. The attention to the details showed in everything from the perfect linens on the comfortable bed to the not soon to be forgotten breakfast.

I stayed at the Troy-Bumpas Inn for four nights during my visit to the UNCG. The proximity of the Inn to the campus is extremely convenient for university related visits, plus only downtown is a 15-20 minutes walk away. There are many dining options around, especially on Tate Street. This is an enchanting historic house and every room has a... More

Troy-Bumpas Inn was the perfect location for my weekend stay in Greensboro. The home and InnKeepers were both equally welcoming & charming. The inn is convenient to everything in Greensboro!! The inn was stocked with books, reading areas, complimentary drinks, snacks, movies and games.I had the opportunity of staying in the Nina Suite and enjoyed every minute!

We visited Greensboro for a show at the Carolina Theatre downtown. The Inn was convenient to the venue. Larry and Judy were most gracious and accommodating - their home is a gem. Stayed one night to attend a baseball game. The inn is walking distance to the NewBridge Bank Park, home of the Greensboro Grasshoppers, as well as some shops/restaurants. Gracious hosts, Judy and Larry, take great care of the guests. Breakfast is marvelous and a tray of coffee/tea is offered before breakfast; guests choose time for both. There are free snacks/water/sodas/ice... More
