My wife and I spent 3 nights at Grandover Resort while on a furniture shopping / mini-vacation trip. It was a nice sanctuary to retreat to after a long day of furniture shopping and exploring the local cuisine. In summary: Staff - Great. Every staff member was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Kudos to the staff. Rooms - Very nice. Rooms... More

Upon arrival I was greeted by a doorman outside and by a bellhop inside. The facilities were impeccable and groomed to royal standards. The view from the 11th floor was breathtaking as I looked out over the golf course. The pool, jacuzzi, spa, game room and other amenities were all first class. A definite must for anyone looking to relax... More

I have attended a conference here for the past three years and one of the reasons I keep this conference on my to-do list is because of the Grandover. It is just so relaxing and built to pamper. Love the rooms and the marble floors, the bedding, the ambiance, the lobby, you name it. And let's be clear--I don't play... More

Wonderful scenery, beautiful landscape and an exceptional place for Event Planning and Congress organizers with the good Southern Welcome; warmth and kindness. Professional courtesy and a level of care compatible with a regional city or small community in contrast with the sophisticated large metropolis hotel. One cannot expect the same type of detail oriented ability but instead a pleasant and... More

I have driven by this resort on many occasions & have noted its beauty from outside, and decided in Feb that I would spend a night to "scope it out" for future regional / national meetings for my company, and to conduct some 1:1 casual interviews for a position I was hiring for. The food was great, the restaurant and... More

It was our 43 year wedding anniversary and decided to stay at the Grandover Resort couple days. We checked in on Thursday 23 and checked out on Staturday 25. The room rate was supposedly $199.00 per night and when we checked out we had been charged $250.00 for Thursday 23 night and $199.00 for Friday 24 night. We asked why... More

We've stayed here several times over the past four years in route from Atlanta to see or son playing lacrosse in Virginia. It is not the Ritz, but it is also perfectly fine. Staff is welcoming if not particularly helpful getting bags out and transported to the room. Restaurants are fine, if not slightly better than fine. Lobby bar is... More

I recently went to this resort for a business conference. We had approx. 70 people and used their stadium style seating room. It was perfect for a small group. The only issue was they served the continential breakfast in one of the two entrances to the room and this areas wasn't set up to handle catering. The food was above... More

Some friends and I booked a 3-day golf stay at the Grandover. From the time we arrived, we were treated with exceptional courtesy and professionalism. While our bags were taken to our rooms, our clubs were taken into separate storage and were in our carts the next morning. We enjoyed the challenging hazards, fairways and greens on both 18-hole courses.... More

So my boyfriend and I reluctantly stayed at the Grandover for the second year in a row and our experience was worse this year! First, the desk couldn't locate our CONFIRMED reservation. Second, after waiting 20 minutes for a room, we were given the worse room ever, with a view that matched our treatment! Our so called view overlooked the... More
