I recently stayed at the Greensboro Downtown Marriott and had a nice stay. The hotel lobby is dated but clean. It definitly is an older hotel as you can tell by the swaggered curtains in the lobby. All the staff I came in contact with spoke first and were very friendly and helpful. The hallways and rooms have been updated... More

This Marriott is average in quality but higher priced than most. I am a Gold Member and thought overall service was poor. The hotel is old and dated. I suggest you stay somewhere else when traveling to Greensboro

The rooms are clean and comfortable. One of the few hotels that I know of that charge for a internet connection. $12.95/day. The charge for parking for parking is $11.00 per day even if you stay at the hotel. Even the hotel resturant is expense. There are better places to stay when in Greensboro, NC.

Nothing less than what I expect from a Marriott property. Downtown around all the sites and sounds great restaurants nearby. Right near the baseball stadium and you can see parts of history down the block a little ways. I love greensboro anyway. Great staff very friendly and helpful, great amenities, great view, nice pool all in all great stay.

service was class A here. they were all very professional. the hotel itself seemed pretty quiet, i guess b/c it's greensboro. but the rooms are typical marriott of course. a little smaller than usual but who cares. concierge is pretty cool compared to others. nice view with no large building right beside you. open bar too. all in all nice... No surprises here. Downtown location. Comfortable rooms. Small bar downstairs. OK workout facilities with big pool! (not attached to workout facilities or changing facilities - kind of odd arrangement) They charge for WIFI - which is still one of my pet peeves for a large chain like Marriott.

Well, it's a pretty standard Marriott but in dire need of a renovation. This place is still stuck in the early 90's and with all the business they have they will need to upgrade the hotel before people start going to the Sheraton because of their better rooms. is a pretty standard Marriott but in dire need of renovation. In September, I spent two nights at the Downtown Greensboro Marriott for a business trip. The room was large and quiet. Bed was comfortable. TV was old, but overall the accommodations were fine. The bathroom could use an update, but it was satisfactory after the hotel fixed the plugged bath drain. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good. Location... More

The hotel seemed to be a little run down. There were a couple of positives that I enjoyed while staying here. The parking garage was close to the lobby of the hotel, a very quick 30 second walk from the car to the lobby. The staff were friendly to interact with. The bar located just off the lobby allowed outside... More

You can't beat the location of this hotel; close to the freeways but still in the heart of downtown. However, it's a shame that Marriott has not invested more in this property. The rooms are dingy, with yellow ceilings. Bathrooms are extremely small and confining. Carpet is old and worn. While the staff is friendly, they cannot compensate for the... More
