We found the O Henry Hotel to be very welcoming, well run and well designed. The lobby is particularly pleasant - an airy, wood-panelled room with lots of comfortable chairs. Our room was very well-equipped, with good quality toiletries, a CD player, and an excellent bed. A walk-in shower was a welcome change from the usual over-bath shower, though the... more

I was put up in their hotel while in town for an interview. WOW! It was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The room was perfect, clean, neat, exceptional amenities, quiet. The room had so much space, a separate bedroom from sitting room, gigantic bathroom w/ separate huge spa tub and shower. All aspects were beautiful and... more

Wow! I travel a lot, especially recently, in the United States and Europe. I stay in good to great hotels, so saying that the O. Henry is quite simply the best hotel I have ever stayed in is saying something! Where to start? The size, design, layout of the rooms is creative and thorough in ways that I have never... more

At first sight of this attractive red-brick hotel with awnings over every little window and flags flying on the roof it made me glad to have a reservation there. Parked in front of the hotel were a black London cab and a 1950's era NYC cab. Although I didn’t use their car service, seeing those cars added to the appeal... more

Stayed at the O. Henry for one night with my teenage daughters in April of 2007. We had a room with a king-size bed and a sofabed. The 2 girls were in the bed, and I was in the sofabed -- which was surprisingly comfortable. The room -- actually, the entire hotel -- was gorgeous. After a visit to the... more

This was the most wonderful experience! We can not believe the level of service, and the attention to detail. The lodging was immaculate. Not a single detail was overlooked. The guestrooms were well designed and beyond comfortable! I'm trying to talk my wife into changing our bed at home to the Magi bed. Our room featured an enormous floor to... more

We stumbled across the O'Henry as we were planning a trip to High Point to furniture shop. We were trying to make a weekend get-away out of it and it was perect! It's located not too far off the main roadways and once inside you feel like you're in a little haven. I highly recommend dinner at the Green Valley... more

Stayed for 2 nights and wish I had made it more. I was there on businesses from the UK, but by the time I left I felt that I had had a little holiday. A real feel of history and clss to the place. Wonderful room with a king bed that worked better than sleeping pills. Great big bathroom with... more

My wife and I just stayed at the O. Henry, and we found this hotel to be one of the finest we have ever stayed in. When making the reservation, the person was very helpful and directed us to a 4th of July special that had a great room rate and a $30 credit for the restaurant that is connected... more

And it truly is great. So immaculately clean, your home seems duller. Every room has it's own air system from the outside; the duvet is cleaned for you alone; just awesome. The bathtub was a little small for my wife's taste, but that's the only bad thing we could come up with. Staff are fine, restaurant has great food (and... more
