Probably cannot add anything that hasn't already been said, but this is just a lovely place. We had such a relaxing night enhanced by the warm wood tones, beautiful furnishings, attentive, friendly staff and luxurious linens and bath products. The breakfast buffet is also excellent. Give this place a try if you are in the area. Well worth it.

We have stayed here once before and it was just as great this visit. The rooms are cozy and the beds are very comfortable. The free breakfast is great. Everything from oatmeal to eggs and bacon. Large siting area in the Lobby that is very nice and plenty of room to have a drink and socialize. As we pulled up... More

This was my first time to stay at the O. Henry. The public areas are beautiful and comfortable. While my room was a good size with great amenities, it looked like it was decorated with a mishmash of leftover chairs. Nothing matched. There were three chairs and a sofa - one office chair and two side chairs with a sofa.... More

We had a wonderful one night stay in this hotel. Be sure to take advantage of the airport transfers! (Precious London Cab with a knowledgable driver.) We were in town for a Garth Brooks concert to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was very helpful and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurant was absolutely delicious from Sunday Brunch... More

My family and I had an extended stay at the O Henry recently. We had two suites on the 8th floor. While we normally stay at a Marriott for points, my wife has informed me not again. The entire experience was fantastic. From the staff, to the restaurant, room and breakfast. My kids and nieces wanted to have the English... More

I spent 3 nights here whilst visiting family in the area. There are many pluses to this hotel: the bed was super comfy; spacious bathroom and sitting area; window that opened; lobby was elegant. Extremely clean throughout. I thought the cost was extremely high. Although it was good for a treat, I am not sure that it was good value... More

Perhaps the finest hotel in Greensboro, the O.Henry is located off of Wendover Avenue, but not in the most heavily-traveled section. It combines the charm of the South with friendly staff, beautifully-decorated rooms, world-class service, and luxury accommodations. It is expensive but well-worth the money if you are in search of Southern charm mixed with an atmosphere of the early... More

We drove to Greensboro to experience Tea in the lobby of this grand hotel. It was a lovely experience, The tea sandwiches, savories, and sweets were fabulous!! The tea offerings were many and varied. Logan, our hostess, was very knowledgeable and the descriptions she offered regarding our selections were so helpful. Each staff member we met greeted us with a... More

Our tea service truly has become a wonderful amenity over the years. It is the perfect spot to catch up with friends, celebrate a special occasion, or just enjoy some tasty treats! We've even expanded to some wonderful special events throughout the year focused on a fun tea experience. Check the website to see any that may be upcoming. We... More

I will keep this brief, but let me tell you--expect excellence and truly attentive service from check-in to check-out. The BEST event food I've ever experienced! Brunch at our event was absolutely delicious. When I walked in, I had a coffee cup in my hand and the young man waiting at the front door asked if I would like to... More

My wife has always wanted to stay at the O. Henry since she drove 85 miles with a friend a few years ago just to attend tea. I surprised her on a recent Saturday when we pulled into the parking lot. Check in was a breeze. The accommodated my request for a corner room on an upper floor. They managed... More

What a fun surprise! How fun! We just delighted you all had a great experience. The Don Rives Cloister Garden, adjacent to the Pavilion, is a great place to enjoy breakfast on a warmer morning. Come back later in the spring and it'll be just perfect. Till then... cheers! Tony More
