My mother and I stayed at Ndali Lodge for two nights in early May 2009 and were absolutely blown away by the beautiful setting and the friendly staff! We spent nearly two weeks in Uganda and this was by far our favorite place. more

This has got to be one of the most unique and enchanting hotels we've ever stayed at -- a sort of English country house set on the rim of an extinct volcano, looking out over a landscape of mountains and crater lakes that's straight out of Tolkein. Nothing to complain about at all -- in fact, we loved our three... more

I stayed here with my father and sister on a whirlwind tour of Uganda. Interestingly we nearly went somewhere else because of a previous poor report. I am so glad we came here! It is a very laid-back style lodge which will not suit those looking for bright lights and action. The setting is amazing. All the rooms were comfortable... more

Quite why one reviewer is complaining about no electricity in the middle of Africa is not clear - perhaps they should try Benidorm next. Anyway, we certainly loved Ndali. The hospitality is great - very friendly owner, who made sure we all had the best time possible. Good food, nice pool with views over the valley. We enjoyed walks around... more

Absolutely lovely in every way - the best views in Uganda, very comfortable, clean, good food, nice people... so peaceful and relaxing... Not sure why the complaints about the lack of electricity, isn't that part of the charm? It was for us, anyway. Had a nice stroll around the farm with Steven and the dogs (they were around but not... more

I stayed two nights in Ndali Lodge (Uganda) with my family in July 2008. I was very disappointed because Ndali Lodge is presented as an upmarket lodge while in reality it is inferior to all other lodges we stayed in during our stay in Uganda. It was the only lodge where there was no electricity at all. Other lodges have... more

In July 2008, we visited Ndali Lodge in Kibale and spent two nights here. It consists of individual cottages with their own verandas overlooking the Ruwenzori mountains. The views were stunning over the crater lakes on each side of the lodge. On arrival, as ever, we are greeted with cold glasses of passion fruit juice and we are assisted to... more

This exclusive colonial style lodge with pool is situated on a ridge with views of the crater lakes to both sides. There is no electricity, which adds to the charm. The hotel staff greeted us with cold juice and showed us to our rooms - large chalets with hot running water, mosquito nets and lots of candles for later. Fabulous... more

Ndali Lodge is set up on a ridge overlooking crater lakes. The scenery is beautiful, but the lodge is amazing. We were welcomed by George the manager who immediately told us to treat the place as our home, and we truly felt as welcome and at ease as we would have in our own home. The individual little houses which... more
