We turned up on spec and were impressed with the wonderful gardens. We were housed in the Berber village which is a quite new addition. These rooms look like tents but are spacious and warm with good bathrooms including a shower with tiled seating reminiscent of a hamman. The Berber village had its own swimming pool. The staff were very... More

When a hotel is recommended by trip advisor I guess you have high expectations. When we arrived at Dar Zitoune I thought it was beautiful. Decor is gorgeous, garden lovely, view absolutely breathtaking. But looks aren't everything. Initially the owner was really charming, but he soon disappeared after we had ordered an evening meal (hotel is quite a way from... More

Nice location, breathtaking view from the terrasse, quiet and clean. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. We have been disappointed however by the lack of service. The maid would speak only arabic and the host welcomed us briefly and then disappeared. We had to wait more than 1 hour to get a breakfast. The swimming pool was dirty. Some more... More

We were staying in this riad for our honey moon for 8 nights. The service was really kind, pleasant and helpful, specially Amin who is the only one who speaks English really good. Room was very comfortable and clean. The owner and Amin helped us with renting a car and showing us a paragliding start. We were a bit disappointed... More

One of the best views I've seen in Morocco. This place is awesome, the surrounding countryside is amazing and the food was the best we had in our entire trip. The hospitality was top notch and super friendly, I highly highly recommend a trip here. P.S. if you like paragliding this is also the number 1 destination in Morocco

I stayed there for 2 nights. It was simply magical. The service and food were accellent. Very helpful staff and yummy meals. The swimming pool was a bit cold though. I highly recommend this place for all those who are looking for a quit place where you can swim, tan and eat peacefully

Incredible food, wonderful & kind staff and gorgeous bedrooms/suites. Dar Zitoune was the perfect start of our family adventure in Morocco. Anour is a fabulous, gracious host and helped us plan the rest of our trip across Morocco - arranging local hikes, tandem paraglides (he's an advid flyer!), trips to Marrakesh and, best of all, a wonderful driver (Hassan) who... Made a prolonged afternoon stop here after a trip to Imlil from Marrakech. My son was feeling unwell and was well looked after by the wonderful staff whilst the rest of us passed the afternoon in the gorgeous gardens with the magnificent view. Highly recommended !

A great place to stay to escape Marrakech for a few days. We stayed for two nights - we had a wonderful suite, with fantastic views out over the plains and the mountains. There are lots of outdoor things to do nearby, but we opted to just relax and go for a few walks. Fantastic meals - the best we... More

I have recently been staying at the Dar Zetoune hotel Taraudant Morocco. It lies near the foothills of the Anti Atlas Mountains. When you arrive you are led through the reception room and through to the courtyard where you are served with welome freshly squeezed orange juice. You are surrounded by perfume of orange, lemon and pawpaw blossom. Our room... More
