While Mnaraniclub is located in a beautiful spot, the Kenyan staff are quite friendly the management is not very kind to their staff and lies on their website. 1. On their website http://www.mddm.co.uk/Mnarani/mnarani_information.htm they claim to be the only hotel in the area, but they are not. There are some nice alternative hotels in the area, for example Kilifi Bay.... more

We have just returned from 2 weeks at this friendly hotel. We travelled with Neilson's who have just opened up a beach club here. The Hotel is delightful - don't expect 5 star luxury accomodation, but the rooms are good and clean, the local staff fantastic and the food was excellent. A good selection and well cooked. The bar on... more

My girlfriend and I spent two weeks at the Mnarani hoping for an extremely relaxing sun soaked winter holiday and we got exactly what we wanted. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, well organised, and very friendly. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, food was excellent and different every night (yes for 2 weeks!). I could go on but lets just... more

For those holiday makers who regularly come to the Mnarani Club I can report that the link with Nielson has not changed the Club at all. Having just returned from Mnarani, from our twelfth visit, the Nielson guests have not changed the atmosphere at all. The only effect has been a bit more (and very welcome) life at the bar... more

we didn't stay at the hotel, one of my friends lives in Kilifi, but went for the buffet lunch and use of the pool. Good food, nice staff (especially letting us win at water polo!) and cold beer. more

Kenya has for a long time been on our list of “places to visit”. When we visited the QVC website (www.qvc.co.za) and saw that Mnarani was one of the resorts listed, our minds were made up. A phone call to ACT Travel was all that was required and in a flash we got our confirmation, we were going to Kenya!... more

Hotel: As almost everyone here has said, the Mnarani Club is an excellent hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the thing that really makes this place stand out is the friendly staff. We’d particularly like to thank James and Lawrence from the animation team, pool attendant Dida, bar waiter Chenga, and Charles from the restaurant. But all the... more

Preparations. Kenya has for a long time been on our list of “places to visit”. When we visited the QVC website (www.qvc.co.za) and saw that Mnarani was one of the resorts listed, our minds were made up. The obvious first thing to do was to make reservations. A phone call to ACT Travel was all that was required and in... more

We travelled to this little piece of heaven at the end of July for our honeymoon. Here’s a quick summary of our experience: The flight: We travelled with First Choice and the chartered flight had the Ryanair feel to it (I suggest you bring water, drinks and snacks with you on the plane). The flight had limited air stewards, they... more

in 40 plus years of foreign holidays we put this one right up there at the top. If asked to name just 1 fault we could not. The staff have got to be the friendliest in the world. the rooms-food-pool-beach- grounds and views were absolutely perfect. We booked a Safari on line in the UK before departure and this again... more
