Didn't want a big 'touristy' hotel as we headed back down the North Coast en route to Mombasa and home. Wendy and her delightful staff were helpful and fun from the first phone call. What Next is Wendy's home and we felt like house guests from the minute we arrived. Beautifully furnished, lots of areas to relax in, books and... More

My husband and I stay here every time we go to Kilifi. It is a really nice guesthouse, family run. The grounds are beautiful and have a tiny beach on the creek, which is secluded and peaceful. The house is gorgeous, rooms are large and nicely furnished. the showers are a bit small but adequate. The staff are friendly and... More

I have stayed here several times over the last few years, as my daughter lives in Kilifi. The rooms are comfortable, lovely with private baths and plenty of hot water. The setting is beautiful. The veranda faces Kilifi Creek and there is nothing better than watching the spectacular sunsets. As I lay in bed at night, I hear the galagos... More

I have now stayed at this wonderful property on two occasions and am certain to return as the mother of a UK citizen who now lives nearby. Wendy makes all who stay with her most welcome and there is a "house party" ambience. Her staff are most attentive and both they and Wendy will do all they can to help... More

I stayed with Wendy during my medical elective at the hospital in Kilifi. After a long journey from the UK and nearly missing my connecting flight to Mombasa from Nairobi I was relieved to find Wendy's taxi driver waiting for me at Mombasa and dropped me off at the B&B when Wendy met me during the middle of night. The... More

As a Master's student at Oxford, I was worried that my research practicum in Kilifi would be a difficult adjustment and stressful time. This, much to my surprise, was certainly not the case. My incredible experience in Kenya was largely due to both Wendy, the owner, and What Next. Not only did I inherit a lovely bedroom and view on... More

I stayed at Wendy's for two weeks in September/October 2013 and had a very good time. Potential drawbacks have been mentioned by KASA67 but if they bother you as little as they did bother me (in fact I liked the dogs a lot) it will be hard to imagine a nicer place to stay in and around Kilifi.

I stayed with Wendy for 7 weeks during my medical elective at Kilifi District Hospital. We had an exceptionally warm welcome, with a tour of the town and a lovely lunch and dinner cooked for us (Wendy will sometimes do this as a one off, although it is a B&B). There are often 2-4 students staying at any one time... More

Wendys is a wonderful welcoming b&b perfect for anyone coming to kilifi- and particularly those undertaking their medical elective or research at the local kilifi district hospital/Kemri. Incredibly good value, beautiful double rooms with ensuites, huge breakfasts and laudrey services as well as Wendy's endless knowledge of the area makes this entirely unique. I would recommend it to anyone.

An Excellent place for a quiet peaceful away break. A very interesting establishment full of character, comfort and friendliness. Enjoy breakfast on the veranda in the company of the pet parrots Outstanding views of Kilifi creek, but only a short walk from Kilifi Town center and shops and restaurants.
