We recently had a short 2 night stay at this luxury camp. Alberto does a wonderful job managing the place. The Italian-inspired menu was very tasty with some surprising touches. Our "tent" was a very private, well-appointed bedroom and bathroom overlooking the river. The frogs and crickets are very loud at night and that adds to the experience. We enjoyed... More

We stayed at Rhino River camp over 1 year ago.. delayed review but needed to be done! Food is amazing and the tents are true luxury. We stayed in the tent that was called Tarzan, built over the river. Very private and made us feel like part of the wild. We were lucky to have the camp all to ourselves.... More

The Rhino River Camp ranks top on my safari camp experiences in Kenya. The unique combination of being luxurious and affordable makes this an excellent choice. The manager, Alberto, runs the camp flawlessly and the staff and game drive guides are outstanding. I have been on several safaris over the past two years and this camp is by far the... More

We spent several nights at the boundary of Meru National Park in this lovely, private camp. The affable and charming manager, Alberto, was eager for conversation and always curious to know how our stay was going. He went to great lengths to ensure our special needs were accommodated. The staff were all respectful, polite and professional. The chef prepared restaurant-quality... More

Really enjoyed our recent stay at the camp - went there for a romantic weekend getaway and the setting, accomodation, food, swimming pool, staff etc were perfect. Everyone was discreet with their service or friendly and chatty to make you feel welcome at just the right times. The italian food throughout the stay was a delight and we came away... More

What a wonderful location! From our host Alberto to the staff and our wonderful guide Paul, this location was wonderful. We spent 3 nights enjoying the sounds of the water as we slept. Watched the monkeys play while we sat outside out 'tent'. Our safari drives were amazing! It is a quiet spot with very little traffice. Most days we... More

I spent 3 absolutely amazing nights at this beautiful camp in Meru National Park. The manager, Alberto Sarrachi made us feel so welcome, that it was very very difficult to leave. The service was personalized, staff warm and professional, meals were superb and prepared depending on what we felt we wanted to eat. The views are absolutely amazing and a... More

We stayed in the camp for three days. The location is unique, no vistas of the park but a very intimate view for the forest and the little river with the accompanying sounds! Marvellous and romantic. The food is Italian inspired and consists of a small but delicately presented buffet. All meals are perfect, not the regular big hotel buffet... More
