There are five canvas chalets with expansive wooden platforms which extend high above the Kindani river and level with the tree canopy, giving me the feeling that I am in a tree-house. However these are no IKEA flat packs assembled by Dad over the weekend, but a fully-fledged adult retreat, more Courts of Rohan than Robinson Crusoe. Each chalet comes... More

I've got to thank Dipa with Phoenix Safaris in Nairobi for recommending this facility. Traveling all over Kenya for the past 6 years and this is by far the best luxury tent camp we have ever experienced. Each room has it's own privacy. We were in room #5, which is located elevated over the small stream in the trees on... More

I went to this camp with family and friends, it has the nicest community of people (especially Alberto who was very welcoming). We arrived on a small plane to a deserted airport, there was literally nothing but wildlife, we got picked up by a jeep with an open top roof and went straight on a safari, it was quite far... More

A group of us (3 adults & 3 children ages 7-13) stayed at Rhino River Camp for two nights and had a great time. The lodge is essentially a luxury tented camp - the tents are spacious, well appointed, very clean and nicely situated overlooking the river flowing through a small valley. The lodge is located right on the edge... More

Alberto and his staff were amazing hosts and catered to our every need. The food was hands down the best safari food we've had (in three years in Kenya!). And the staff were very personable. Our game drive guide, Paul knew every nook and cranny of the park, and had amazing gut instinct and inside knowledge about every species imaginable.... More

We really enjoyed our stay at RRC, as it covers all your needs with an excellent quality. The (italian) food is delicious. The rooms are decorated with extreme good taste, and their view of the river helps you relax after your game drive. Excellent siestas! Our driver Joel was so great. So friendly and really an expert on game drives.... More

Nice hotel tucked away next to a gushing river..serene and peaceful, the perfect place to go and relax with friends/family and unwind. If travelling by road during the rainy season, ensure it is in a 4 wheel drive as roads tend to get tricky in the park with the black cotton soil. Staff were friendly, great and accommodating as well... More

We spent 3 days at RRC and it was truly paradise. The grounds are unbelievable and blend in so well with the surrounding forest. The refinement of the decoration transports you to a world of luxury and finesse. The staff are extremely attentive and do make you feel very special. The food was excellent throughout (breakfast, lunch and dinner). During... More

We recently had a short 2 night stay at this luxury camp. Alberto does a wonderful job managing the place. The Italian-inspired menu was very tasty with some surprising touches. Our "tent" was a very private, well-appointed bedroom and bathroom overlooking the river. The frogs and crickets are very loud at night and that adds to the experience. We enjoyed... More

We stayed at Rhino River camp over 1 year ago.. delayed review but needed to be done! Food is amazing and the tents are true luxury. We stayed in the tent that was called Tarzan, built over the river. Very private and made us feel like part of the wild. We were lucky to have the camp all to ourselves.... More
