The lobby was very country and pretty. It smelled a bit going down the halls but the room was very clean. Loved the big old bath tub. It was like walking back in time. Great soft bed and patio was nice size. Price was just right especially when you can walk out of the lobby and all kinds of shops... more

First, the good part . . . It's right in the middle of town, with plenty of FREE parking. All you need to do is park and walk.(Don't underestimate the value of this - Gatlinburg is crowded and cramped) Since it's a little hard to get out of the parking lot when there's a lot of traffic, I recommend exiting... more

We discovered the Riverside several years ago and have been back at least three or four times a year since. Staff is always nice and friendly. The rooms are somewhat outdated, but clean. Price is very reasonable. It is in a great location, convenient to restaurants, shops, and amusements. The large lobby, with fireplace for cozy winter chats, is a... more

It's right in the middle of town. Just park and walk. A little hard to get out of the parking lot when a lot of traffic. Beautiful, rustic lobby with friendly staff. I hope they replace the carpet soon. The place is old but clean. more

Myself & 3 friends stayed at the motel for 3 nights whilst on vacation from England, On arrival the member of the motel staff who checked us in was most friendly couldn't be more helpful. But then it was downhill from then on. The rooms were quiet run down but were clean which is most important. It is in a... more

Across the street from this hotel is some sort of scary roadside tourist show, but that can't compare to our room with the butterfly on its sliding glass door! This hotel was like Disney's Tower of Terror! My daughter and my husband went into the a door, which we thought was the front door, to make a reservation for the... more

We decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Gatlinburg this past weekend. Since it is off season, we didnt really worry about making reservations ahead of time.
