Spent 4 nights in Sept. at Edgewater Hotel, Rooms were nice ,nothing fancy . Service was fine from staff. If hotel is busy elevators will be a long wait (take the stairs). Riverside view with balcony was great.|Parking is tight but we had no problems. Overall I would recommend. We are planning on staying here again next year. more

This year a friend and I decided to spend our summer vacation in Gatlinburg for a week and after checking out this website and a few others, we found a great deal for Edgewater through Hotels.com and booked a room. It seems the reviews are mixed so I really did not know what to expect but figured we take a... more

We normally stay in cabins when we visit Gatlinburg, but this year we decided to go alone instead of with a big group, so a hotel would be more ideal then a big cabin for the 2 of us. So I do set my standards high, but I couldn't find anything wrong with this hotel. We stayed here from October... more

Stayed with my two sisters for 4 nights at the Edgewater. Was very happy with the accomodations. The room was large enough that we didn't feel cramped. The gas fireplace was a great amenity (we used it even though it wasn't cold) The pool and hot tubs were a great way to relax after a day of walking, shopping and... more

A group of friends from five States met at this Hotel for a Reunion and stayed for 4 nights. We had a great time. The Hotel was clean and very friendly. The Pool and Hot Tubs were great. The balcony overlooking the river was a very relaxing extra we didn't expect. It also provided a great view of the city... more

A friend and I stayed at the Edgewater the weekend of September 17 - 20, 2009. Parking is tight, but do-able, we always had a spot. The room was clean except for the bathroom ceiling and walls had water marks and spots. Very honest housekeeper, we left a tip on the table, but she never took it! The location is fantastic... more

We stayed at the Edgewater Hotel in Gatlinburg for our summer vacation. It is in a great location, right next to the strip but not on it. If you've never been to Gatlinburg, the strip can get pretty busy so with the Edgewater being off the strip you are close to the action but not far away. When making reservations,... more

We recently visited the Edgewater Hotel and a terrible time, the continental breakfast, which came with our package deal, was non-exsistant. The restuarant needs to be alot more professional, my husband got sick on his meal. The veiw we had was great and we had very comfortable bed. We booked on line ad did not stay the entire 5 nights... more

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon neither of us had been to Gatlinburg before so everything was new to us. We certainly had a wonderful time. The hotel was in walking distance to all the downtown attractions. We didn't use our vehicle to go anywhere except when we went to Pigeon Forge. The parking is a little... more
