If you like heavily stained carpets, unchanged beds, filthy bathrooms with holes in the ceiling, no locks on the doors, no water in the pool, and unresponsive staff, this hotel is for you! While we were guests in late October, a HOTEL AUCTION sign went up on the front lawn with a November 2009 date. Stay away from this one... more

The Inn was the best place I have ever stayed it .It was wonderful. The rooms were large and beautiful , loved the large balcony. The staff was more than wonderful . It was very clean ,beautiful furniture . The breakfast was out of this world, the area was spotlessly clean and the food was excellent.. The pepper gravy was the... more

The Wildwood Inn has large rooms, great views and an exceptional staff. They were very polite and courteous. The rooms are clean however they are decorated circa 1980 - the bedspreads have a bit to be desired. The mattresses hard - I have slept on floors softer than these mattresses. The location is great if you want some peace and... more

My husband and I both were pleased with this hotel. The staff was super nice and helpful and made it totally worthwhile. I liked the location, being that it was away from all the conjestion and noise. My main complaint would be that the rooms were too dark and dreary and need either more lamps or brighter bulbs! It was... more

We recently stayed at the Wildwood, in Gatlinburg, the last week of June 2009. The hotel is a little dated, but nice. The rooms are huge, and with two young boys in tow, that was very much appreciated. The balconies are very nice, and relaxing. The hot tub at the pool was broken during our trip, but the pool was... more

My wife & I stayed at The Wildwood Inn, Dec of 2008 for our honeymoon after 20 years of wedded bliss. It was a fair motel, the cold air blew in through the cracks around the door, so we had to keep the heat cranked on high the entire time, don't bother with a "Do Not Disturb" sign, the help... more

This hotel is a little dated, however we reserved it because of the affordable rates. Upon arrival the front desk staff was very friendly and effecient. However, when we stepped into the property's elevator I was rather disturbed; it was probably the oldest looking elevator that I have ever entered and made a very unsettling delayed ringing sound as it... more

if you like the 70's you'll feel right at home. Beds feels like rocks and looks like they were purchased in the 70's. Beds been worn hard and put out to dry. Biscuits were reheated for the next day and were hard. You can only get internet if you set on the balacony or hold your computer just right. No... more

When we travel, we travel economy. My husband, eight year old son, and myself took a last minute vacation at the end of September, 2008, booking a room at the Wildwood for 6 days. Located on the outer edge of Gatlinburg, in the Pigeon Forge side, you are still within walking distance of the main activities of Gatlinburg. Our room... more

Wildwood Inn rocks!! Don't be mislead by some reviews that obviously had a bad (rare) experience. The location of this hotel alone makes it one of the best places to stay in Gatlinburg. more
