Extra nice campground. Stayed on concrete pull through sire with 40 foot motorcoach. Staff was supportive and friendly, WiFi worked well, facility was clean and we'll maintained. Campsite was well shaded, Verizon cell coverage was good. Only potential drawbacks were my site was narrow, and my satellite dish was useless. They did have cable with around 10 stations.

Very clean, comfortable campground. It was the perfect place for us rookie rv-ers! The owners made sure we had a nice spot and that we were able to get parked and set up easily. We enjoyed staying here very much and plan on returning when we visit the Smoky Mountains in the future.

This campground has a lot of positives. Easy to get to (see further comment below), and for a smallish park, interior navigation is good. Shady and quiet. The pool is small but quite adequate (adjacent hot tub's a bonus), a nice little play area for kids, and the bath house is nice, clean and well maintained. We did not utilize... More

Owner fit us in over a very busy time just before the 4th of July. When we arrived she gave us lots of details on things to do in the area, and we appreciated her bluntness with pricing of activities as well! LOL! She knows how to not spend our money, which I loved! Campground is extremely well kept, they... More

Camped with a 29' Passport travel trailer. Campground host and owner, Chong, was very nice. To make sure we had the right site, she walked with my wife and myself and pointed out some selections. Property was very well groomed. Garbage is picked up daily at your site. Our site was very level, gravel and small river rock. Sites are... More

We called last minute for an RV site and they took us right in. Easy access from I-40 pulling a travel trailer. The camp store/office is stocked with some essentials, including firewood and ice. All sites are paved and have easy access. All sites are shaded..lots of trees, and made it much cooler and much nicer to sit outside. Pool... More

They have been awarded 5 stars, but as a customer, staying for the first time in a privately owned campground, we were so pleased with this location. It is small but quaint and pretty, and the sites are not too small. The owner is helpful and full of suggestions for sightseeing. They maintain the bathrooms very well and also have... More

My family took our first vacation together in Tennessee and stayed at Smoky Bear campground. It was a great stay in the honey bear cabin. We couldn't have been more comfortable. The campground was nice and clean. Downtown Gatlinburg is conveniently on the same stretch of road from the campground which was a plus. Great quiet friendly place to stay!

This is our 4th time staying at the smoky bear campground. You will not find better owners of a campground anywhere. I have dealt with Chong on all our trips including this one. She is awesome. She always points out the great attractions that are free and only in the smokies. The campsites are great and being there many times,... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to sort through many of the available activities and attractions. They provide you with customized information from their experience that is suited to all age and activity levels. The spaces in the park are super clean. There are tons of trees and shade. The spaces are quite... More
