We have stayed here every year for 30 years. Mary and employees at kingwood have always went out of their way to be helpful and make us comfortable. We hope to stay many years to come. They make sure we are very happy.

I am a first time reviewer. I am not sure how this could even be considered clean. The non smoking room gave me a terrible headache due to the smell of smoke. We had to kill several bugs when we arrived and I didn't sleep due to the bugs on the ceiling we could not reach. The sheets and bedding... More

Kingwood Inn is the vintage Hotels/Inns that I seek out when I go on my road trips. It is nothing fanny in any means, however, the hospitality out beats the high luxury, over priced places. The room was clean, older mini fringe and microwave, TV with local service, plenty of clean towels, nice size pool with plenty of seating, chairs... More

We were only staying one night in Gatlinburg and wanted something fairly cheap, but still decent and this fit the bill. Our room was a good size and clean, and considering the price we thought it was extremely good value for money. If you're not looking for something luxurious and you want a friendly place to stay at a good... More

Now, for those of you looking to live large and stay in luxury on your vacation, DO NOT stay here; living large and luxurious can't happen for less than $100 a night. For those of you on a budget, looking to save money on your stay and not sleep in a filth bucket, this place is for you. We paid... More

This is a good little hotel. Granted it is dated, but you cant beat the location and the price. It is a nice walk to town. The hotel had a nice family feel & the pool was nice & warm & the area was taken care of. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was very friendly. Would stay... More

Awesome place to stay - clean, local owned, friendly, great location, great prices - we've stayed several times in the last year and will always go back. No need to look for a better location for us! Walk to Gatlinburg, yet out of traffic! Great folks too!!

We have stayed here twice and both times we received excellent courtesy and service. The pool is nice, and the hotel is peaceful and quiet but still close enough to all the shops. Will be staying here again! We stayed a few years ago though, not last year like the review says

We are a family of 3 that spends every year in Gatlinburg for spring break. This place was 2 blocks from Parkway, off the main drag, but very quiet setting. An easy walk to the strip and easy access to bypass to leave town avoiding traffic. We are looking forward to next year for a return visit to this hotel. The... More

We made a reservation at kingwood for valentines day for my husband and I and my son and his wife. We arrive to check in and she couldn't find my name. I told her what room I had rented and she said ok. We said we would like to see it. Went and looked at it, wasn't a bad room... More
