Ok everyone knows I go for almost the cheepest hotel because I am not picky when I am only going to be in it a couple hours any ways! Kingwood has COMFORTABLE beds! this place is wonderful to me! tried this hotel. prepaid for the first night and that is all wanted to stay. from dark walnut cheap paneling to dark green carpet to 1960's furniture the room was just soooooo out of date. the room was clean but bedding stained. pool was ok but parking was tricky. this was a lesson in you get what you pay for. more

I really liked this little Motel. It was walking distance from all of the action. The room was simple and clean and the staff was nice and helpful. The only probelm was that the pool was closed for the season. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. more

We stayed during Thanksgiving week-end- the rates are great-best deal in town for a nice, big, clean, wood-burning fireplace room. Nice location, away from traffic, but you can walk to the village and downtown. If we ever come back during winter, will stay here. more

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Kingwood Inn and had a very nice stay. Now we do not need or use hot tubs, or movies, we went to enjoy Gatlinburg foods and shopping then have a quiet, clean place to rest up for the next day. That was just what we found! We just recently spent a week at the Kingwood Inn in Gatlinburg. Located at 117 Bishop Lane, about a block and half from the Parkway. The rooms were kept clean and the clientel is friendly. I would recomend this motel which is affordable and quiet. They also have cottages for rent and rooms with fireplaces if you so desire. more
