Been going to Gatlinburg for the last 12 years and started staying at the Riverhouse about 8 years ago. Always clean. Staff is courteous, helpful and friendly. The donuts are delicious. more

We reserved a park view room for Labor Day week end and had a wonderful visit. The hotel is at the end of Gatlinberg, so somewhat out of all the loud commotion in Gatlingberg, but within walking distance of everything. The room was very nice, the view was wonderful and the staff made the stay very pleasant. We will request... more

We stayed here for Spring Break with our young children and were VERY pleased! We had found the reviews on trip advisor, and upon staying, this hotel is exactly what everyone said it would be. We had a room on the river with balcony, 2 queen beds, fireplace, garden tub (a little small), fridge and lots of space. The rooms... more

I love this place. I've stayed here several times and even though the room isn't very updated (at least when I was there last) it is very nice. Everything works great & is very nice. The pool is nice and its not far off the strip at all. Your at the end so you can just go down one way... more

Please be aware of cancellation period. When I called to book a reservation, they did not advise of the cancellation period as most hotels do. I asked if they would email me confirmation but they would not do so, said they would U.S. mail confirmation. When I called to cancel reservations 3 days before arrival date, they advised that the... more

This was our third or fourth stay at the Riverhouse. The rooms are comfortable and large enough for us to spread out. The heated pool and hot tub are great - especially with the cool, crisp fall air all about and after we've been camping in the Smokies for a few days! This hotel is great for being close enough... more

Our family stayed at the River House the last weekend of July, and it was just as we expected from the reviews. A little dated, but the very clean rooms and great staff more than made up for any short commings you may find. We loved it. more

My family stayed here for 4 nights. We arrived very late after the office was closed and they arranged to have someone meet me there late at night to check us in. The room had two queen sized beds, a corner fireplace, table and chairs, two comfortable lounging type chairs, large bathroom with a whirlpool tub, ample storage for clothing,... more

This was our first visit to this hotel, but not to Gatlinburg. We stayed for two nights the first weekend in June. We had a wonderful time. There were only two of us this time, but the rooms are very large, with comfy beds and chairs, small table and chairs in living area, with very nice fireplace, large windows, a wide... more

Every traveler has individual priorities. In order for me to get away for a short vacation, I may need to bring my laptop and keep up with my email and my customer’s needs so good Wi-Fi is a priority. While this hotel advertises wi-fi, it really is inoperable due to not having enough access points. From my room I had... more
