This B&B was adequate. However a couple of things I did not care for were the bathrooms in the rooms (no separate door and no vent to the outside!!) and the bedding had a very strong fabric softener smell that made it very difficult to sleep--I don't use fragranced laundry soap, fabric softener that has any fragrance at home, so... more

Joe and I have used B&B's for the last five years or so. This was one if not our favorite one of all. It is located up on a mountain. It is within waling distance of Gatlinburg. We found we could use our car easily also because of the middle of the week. The owners were wonderful down to earth... more

Dan & Karen are great hosts and gave us lots of helpful hints. The breakfasts were fabulous as were the cookies and cake in the evening. The location of the lodge was good because it was close enough to walk to downtown but still felt secluded. It was like a home away from home. I would definitely stay there again... more

We spent a brilliant 5 days at Laurel Springs - its such a lovely peaceful place. The rooms were comfortable and pretty, the breakfasts were amazing and Karen and Dan were always so cheerful and helpful. If we lived in the USA we would be visiting again and again. more

This is truly a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I came to Gatlinburg not realising just how touristy it would be. We like to travel away from touristy areas so Gatlinburg itself was hugely disappointing. Luckily we were staying at the Laurel Springs Lodge. Dan and Karen are a wonderful couple who are clearly well suited to their... more

My dream had always been to visit Gatlinburg, TN, so I researched accommodations on tripadvisor and came up with The Laurel Springs. It is welcoming and comfortable - Dan & Karen are great hosts, who aim to please - they offer lots of helpful information with regard to sights, attractions, restaurants, etc. We are in the Victorian Suite - it... more

Dan and Kerry were outstanding hosts. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were cozy and clean. The breakfasts were delicious. I particularly like the home atmosphere and talking to the other guests. This was the most enjoyable weekend I have experienced in a long time. Laurel Springs Lodge hands down is the best bargain for the price. They... more

My husband and I stayed two nights at this cozy, quaint bed and breakfast. The owners were super nice and even skipped going out to dinner so they would be there when we arrived. They took us out on the glassed in patio for dessert, and we sat in swinging hammock chairs and enjoyed relaxing and talking. Their home is... more

The owner's, Dan and Karen were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfasts were so good. We liked that the inn was right downtown in Gatlinburg, but it was across the river and seemed more secluded and away from things. Yet you could walk across the street and be right there with the restaurants and other activities. more
