We enjoyed our stay with Bob & Shirley at The Foxtrot. We stayed in the Chimneyview Room on the second floor which was great. It had a nice sitting room, a well equipped bathroom with both shower and jacuzzi tub, a private balcony, and a pretty view of the Smokies. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed and plenty of... Hidden in the trees, up the serpentine road, but well worth the climb. Room was cozy, comfortable bed, many books in the library if you so desire, and gorgeous views from the deck. Hosts were attuned to our needs, and eager to impart their knowledge of the area's history and sites. Offered recommendations for activities and restaurants. And the breakfasts!... More

I highly recommend this B&B. Our stay here was superb! The view is unbelievable-the deck has an unobstructed view Mt LaConte. Bob and Shirley, the innkeepers, are amazing! A 3-course breakfast is served each morning. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The living room has a very nice library and is warm and welcoming. Our room... More

Bob and Shirley have a great Bed & Breakfast. The three course breakfast Shirley prepared was great. They made us feel right at home. The view from the porch of the mountains were beautiful. We ate breakfast with the guest each morning and became good friends before the trip was over. Had a great time.

My wife and I took a short detour to Gatlinburg because she had never been there before. Called Shirley in the late afternoon and she was very accommodating in letting me make a reservation to check in later that day. Arrival was smooth and I thought very professional. Shirley showed us downstairs and then took us up to our suite... More

The Foxtrot is the perfect B&B for visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. My wife and I spent two relaxing days enjoying and photographing the local area with great suggestions from Shirley. Morning breakfast was a gourmet delight, perfect and delicious. Our room was very comfortable and the king size bed provided us an excellent nights rest. Highly recommended especially in... More

On a road trip through the Eastern US I decided to visit the Smokey Mountains and searched for someplace interesting to stay, which is how I found the Foxtrot. I'm very happy that I did. It is one of the best B&B's in which I've stayed anywhere in the world, certainly the one with the most spectacular view - looking... More

My husband and I recently stayed 2 nights in the Leconte Sunrise room at The Foxtrot for our anniversary, and we were very pleased with our overall experience. Bob and Shirley are so knowledgeable about the area, and offered us lots of useful info. They are also very hospitable, and it is obvious that the comfort of their guests is... More

I wish I had dug deeper into the reviews. If I had I would have found similar issues and concerns that we had during our stay. We met friends for here for two nights. The location is up a windy, foggy road. We knew this before booking and didn't expect it to be as bad as it was. I think... More
