My wife and I have frequented B&Bs across the country and have never had food as delicious and unique as the hosts provide at the Foxtrot! All guests breakfast together which resulted in wonderful conversation and laughter. The Foxtrot is situated high above the Galatin Valley with spectacular views and peaceful tranquility. Very gracious hosts; we felt folded in and... More

Gloria and LT Wasn't sure what to expect from a B&B! But Bob and Shirley made it a memorable experience. The room was very nice. You can even drink the beverage from the frig in your room for no extra charge. The breakfasts prepared by Shirley were awesome! It is also the little things that count, like little Moon pies,... My wife booked a room at the Foxtrot for a weekend away. The drive to the Foxtrot was nice through the mountains and secluded. Bob greeted us at the door giving a quick tour of the living space and of the amazing view. My wife had arranged for chocolate covered strawberries and apple cider (our wedding treat) for our arrival.... More

We chose to stay at the Foxtrot Bed and Breakfast for our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration and were not disappointed! We spent our honeymoon in Gatlinburg, (all three days) in 1964 and wanted a nostalgia visit. As a wonderful surprise, Shirley had prepared chocolate covered strawberries for us and had assisted our sons in obtaining a gift card for the... More

We enjoyed our stay with Bob & Shirley at The Foxtrot. We stayed in the Chimneyview Room on the second floor which was great. It had a nice sitting room, a well equipped bathroom with both shower and jacuzzi tub, a private balcony, and a pretty view of the Smokies. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed and plenty of... Hidden in the trees, up the serpentine road, but well worth the climb. Room was cozy, comfortable bed, many books in the library if you so desire, and gorgeous views from the deck. Hosts were attuned to our needs, and eager to impart their knowledge of the area's history and sites. Offered recommendations for activities and restaurants. And the breakfasts!... More

I highly recommend this B&B. Our stay here was superb! The view is unbelievable-the deck has an unobstructed view Mt LaConte. Bob and Shirley, the innkeepers, are amazing! A 3-course breakfast is served each morning. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The living room has a very nice library and is warm and welcoming. Our room... More

Bob and Shirley have a great Bed & Breakfast. The three course breakfast Shirley prepared was great. They made us feel right at home. The view from the porch of the mountains were beautiful. We ate breakfast with the guest each morning and became good friends before the trip was over. Had a great time.

My wife and I took a short detour to Gatlinburg because she had never been there before. Called Shirley in the late afternoon and she was very accommodating in letting me make a reservation to check in later that day. Arrival was smooth and I thought very professional. Shirley showed us downstairs and then took us up to our suite... More

The Foxtrot is the perfect B&B for visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. My wife and I spent two relaxing days enjoying and photographing the local area with great suggestions from Shirley. Morning breakfast was a gourmet delight, perfect and delicious. Our room was very comfortable and the king size bed provided us an excellent nights rest. Highly recommended especially in... More
