We stayed here in June 2009. It was great hotel for the price. I loved to sit on the balacony and here the river. Cool in the evening even in June. Hotel was clean and adequate. They were painting the railings and porches while we were there. Tiny bathroom but clean. It is at the end of the strip and... more

Do not stay at the Comfort Inn? We paid $69. a night through AAA and I, like others, picked this place due to the "stream view." Rooms were small and faced the road which was noisy and the stream view was from about 60 feet up. Due to the neighborhood in in the back you could not leave the curtain... more

The Inn is right next to the major highway through Gatlinburg. Very noisy! Not up to our standards. Gap in the door to our room. Made it seem it like were camping in a tent. Do not recommend. Stayed one night and moved to better accomodations. The Inn is in desperate need of remodeling. more

We stayed at this hotel through Bluegreen Vacations. We bought a package through Bass Pro shops and had to do the whole timeshare thing for two nights in Gatlinburg. Needless to say we were there for the free nights and had no intention in buying the time share. When we arrived, check in was great until we walked up to... more

Stayed at this hotel one night. The room was clean and comfortable but this place needs a facelift. Paint is peeling on the balcony rails, the hand hold in the shower was broken, the TV was too dark to view, facing on the entrance door was broken, the road noise is horrible, and the continental breakfast was very limited. I... more

I enjoyed staying at the Comfort Inn, it was not on the main drag. It had a slow elevator but the room was clean and okay. I felt the hotel price was reasonable and we loved the view from the balcony. I didn't like when I had to park under the hotel it was some tight parking when backing out... more

Overall, I would have to say the hotel is okay. The rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was okay. We didn't have a remote for the tv even after asking for one. Some of the desk clerks were rude, but others appeared friendly. The view off the balcony was nice with the stream, however they had a big broken... more

We were happy with this hotel. View was excellent, location was great, and the price was great. We saved about a hundred a night staying here compared to the hotels at the aquarium. I had read a lot of bad review about this place and was apprehensive about staying here. We decided to chance it because of the last 3... more

After talking to several people about whether to stay in a cabin or a hotel, everyone recommended a hotel if we wanted to be able to do things downtown. I wanted something downtown Gatlinburg, something on the river, something with a refridgerator and microwave, and a king bed...this had it all for a great rate! The room was clean and... more

After booking my room with the Comfort Inn on the River, I checked reviews here and was a little nervous, to say the least. My concerns, however, were completely unjustified. This hotel has a great location on the main Parkway through Galtinburg, less than a mile walk to everything you could want to see. The hotel was clean and the... more
