My wife and I have stayed here a few times. We have tent camped every time. This year we will be upgrading to a pop up. We love it!!!! Great for relaxing, fishing, and having quiet family time. Darlene is the best host...... She will help in every way possible to make sure you have a great experience. Would recommend... More

We reserved an RV site for four nights and were able to choose an alternate space on the Little Pigeon River with a fast rushing stretch of water. Unfortunately, my wife became ill overnight and we had to leave in order to get her to her doctor. I was able to leave the RV in spite of the fact that... More

I have been to Greenbrier Island several times over the years. Darlene is upfront and pulls no punches. I like her personality because she doesn't sugar coat anything or pretend to have that fake southern hospitality. People complaining about the dog and beer policy. We have brought our dogs in the past. Let me tell you that I am glad... More

We stayed here reluctantly after reading other reviews. Especially regarding the owners. The owner was very nice to us on the phone as well as at check in and have us all of the info we needed up front. The facilities and property were clean and well kept. The creek had a nice area for small kids as well as... More

The campgrounds are beautiful and serene. So much space to play or even build something for kids, but no ... just a small, rusty swing set. The swimming hole is wonderful, but that is nature's, not the campgrounds. The golf cart nazi was all over us for small, piddly things. We won't be going back. Stay somewhere else and drive... More

This place is great. The office staff are very helpful and nice people. The sites are so close to the river and in wonderful locations. It is quiet and far enough away that all you can hear at night is the water of the creek by your tent. There is a wonderful swimming hole and the water is crystal clear.... More

We have been camping there for years. The owners let us pick and reserve any spot we want. The flint rock at the swimming hole has been a great place to jump off of since I was a kid. Not very far from Gatlinburg and camping supplies. They have ice and wood onsite at great prices.

Best swimming hole and fishing in the Smokies, a few hundred yards from national park boundary. The owner is very strict but that keeps out the riffraff. There are no paved patios, arcades, pools or camp stores but you won't find a more beautiful natural spot. Bring your tubes and fishing poles.

Called to get information the lady was extremely rude would not stay here just because of the attitude she had on the phone. Never been treated this way asking for information about a service they offer to the public. Obvious why they have so many bad reviews. Need new owners!!!

We just completed a week stay. We had no issues with camp mgmt. The c/ground is SPOTLESS. The swimming hole should be advertised better, it's basically where three creeks merge into a small river - bring tubes bc you can walk up stream a little and tube down! I will go back and stay!!!
