Bed was stained and dirty, room poorly cleaned, and aid didn't work. Told management room unacceptable and they charged card anyway. Room booked through booking.com complained them immediately and then told that motel management said we were a no show. What a lie please don't use this dirty and unethical business.

This is a great hotel for the price.... 62$ a night that is including taxes... I loved the balconie over the over the water... we left the door open and listened to the water running by and it was very relaxing... Easy 6-7 minute walk from the hotel to the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg so you don't have to... More

I have attempted several times to call this property. They pick up the phone and lay it on the counter until you hang up?? If this is the type of customer service I can expect upon staying, I will look elsewhere. It's a shame as we have passed this hotel many times and took the time to write down the... More

We are very sorry to hear we could not speak with you. We are a very small quiet family owned and operated hotel. So by no means will we answer the phone and leave it on the counter. But we do have a answering machine that might be answering when you tried to call. And if we missed the call... More

Glad to hear you liked our hotel. We will continue working and making the exterior better for the guest. As well as improving the interior rooms and keeping them clean so you can enjoy the great view of the water from the balcony. Thanks for staying with us! More

This is the motel I used to stay at with my family and grandparents when a child. I am now 52. We had never stayed in the cabins, only in the motel part. I used to daydream about being all grown up and staying in one of the cabins with my own family, so when we had to be in... More

This is "our place" for my wife and I. We've been here many times over the years since 1999, and it was very special. First thing is the "cottages" are very tiny and not your typical overnight stay. You feel like you are in a little cabin in the mountains with a stream running right next to you. The bed... More

Horrible!!! Do not stay!!! It's an old run down motel and not worth a penny!! The carpet is so old and stained that you need to wear shoes. The locks and doors are not safe and secure. The bed is completely wore out and couldn't even trust if the sheets were cleaned. Nothing in this motel was new and the... More

I booked my room in a hurry and then read all the reviews... If I'd still had a window to cancel my reservation I would have, but since there was no time left we went and just expected the worst. Maybe it's because of the horrible reviews that I was actually pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of our room. The... More

A few friends and I booked the room here because of location. We get there and check-in only to be pissed. The pool was not working, we found blood on the sheets, floor and mattress. We found bugs in our beds then duck tape on everything. This place charged us each $90 for a POS room. Had to call our... More

The last time we were in Gatlinburg we stayed at the Terrace as we always do. We rented one of the cabins by the river. They are small and a little rustic, just what I look for. They have good comfortable beds, cable, heat and air, swimming pool, but most of all,the sound of the river running by your porch. Open the windows and allow... More
