Awful Experience! I stayed with my Mom and my 2 children for 4 nights over Spring Break. The bedding was old , had cigarette burns, ragged. We were allotted 12 towels for 5 days & 4 nights. To shower and use the hot tub. CRAZY!! The porch light was out, never repaired, It's very dark walking up to the cabin... More

My daughter reserved a cabin for a two night stay. On the first night the power went out in one room. I searched for the breaker box which was outside. I was not about to go outside in the woods without any lights. We could not get the heat regulated. The cabin was freezing. I found bugs crawling in the... More

I would not recommend these cabins. They tried to charge my husband and I for damages to the cabin that were already there before we arrived. The hills to get to the cabin are also a pain and if it snows while you are there you will probably not make it to your cabin. My advice is to get a... More

My husband and I travel a lot and have never been compelled to write a review of any kind until now. This was honestly the worst travel experience either one of us have ever had in our lives and we have stayed in some shady hotels while traveling to football games before. Acorn Ridge literally ruined our Valentine's weekend. The... More

Let me just start out saying that this was our last resort but was the only thing available that was pet friendly. When we arrived it had snowed recently and several other cabin company's were rescheduling and turning people away. However Aunt Bugs made it clear to us we would have absolutely no issues making it up to our cabin.... More

For weeks I had searched for the perfect cabin. I looked at literally hundreds before we went to Tennessee. It was just to hard to choose so I decided we would wait until we got there. We were booked for a conference at the Clarion in Gatlinburg for the first 4 days of our trip. So my plan was to... More

I booked a cabin online with a indoor pool for my sons birthday in April, this was the first week of February. Later in the day my husband received a call saying the pool cabins had a 3 night minimum. We informed them we could not do three nights and told them to just forget about it. Later in the... More

I consider myself to be a cabin expert after 8 years of traveling to the Gatlingburg area. Before I left home I knew what I had gotten myself into by looking at tripadvisor, youtube and other internet websites. My coworker picked these cabins, of course he has never been to the area and seen the different cabin selections. This was... More

Anniversary weekend headache! The associates were very nice & personable & the cabin was secluded & fairly nice. HOWEVER the front door lock only worked with the key (not with the keypad), the kitchen faucet dripped all night, the shower heads were awful, and the hot tub would not run but a few minutes before it shut off for an... We rented City Bear #212 for last week of December; we paid about $2800 including an imposed travel insurance. The cabin was filthy filled with dust and cobwebs, pillows and linens with mildew. The entire cabin smelled musty and mildewish; felt more like a barn. The jacuzzi tub water was soupy and the heater never worked. Cooking utensils consisted of... More
