We just returned from a 3 day stay at the Mountain House Inn. It is very clean and is really convenient to the Village downtown. For the money it is an excellant place to stay. Their free Wifi works great also. I highly recommend staying here unless you are looking for a 5 star hotel like a Marriot or Hilton. more

This is our favorite place to stay in Gatlinburg. We go to Gatlinburg every year and over the years have stayed at several other motels. None had all the features we wanted. The Mountain House is located within walking distance of the main shopping and entertainment areas, yet it is far enought away to remain peaceful and serene. The rooms... more

First time here, usually stay at Jack Huff's across the street, but they were full. Clean and comfy, but a bit old fashioned and a little worn, but for $65 I will stay again. It is a short walk to the Christmas Village shopping area. more

Did not have reservations and booked two nights. Front desk clerk very nice. Hotel room was okay, not great, but no where near as bad as some I have been in. A plus for the hotel is that it is off the beaten path and vehicle traffic is not too bad even though it is within walking distance to downtown... more

My wife and I first stayed at the Mountain House Inn in November 2006. We found many coupons for different motels and were dissapointed until we pulled up in front on the Mountain House Inn. We were suprised at the location and rates for this one. I admit the bathrooms are a bit small and the shower head is low... more

We stayed here last year along with our 8 year old grand daughter. The place was in great need of a remodeling!! Our air conditioner was not working well - was loud and moldy smelling. The bathroom was very tiny, tub was nasty. The carpet really needed to be vacuumed. Location was OK. Grand daughter loved the pool. We did... more

Three women on a road trip. We had picked up a coupon book and called ahead. We wanted queen beds. We were given a room on the second floor far from the office. It had not been cleaned. The cooffe pot had moldy grounds in it and when we truned down the bed, the sheets had obviously been slept on.... more

I was suppose to stay in this motel from July 22-26 and I called the desk to cancel my reservations. I was told that it would be cancelled so I booked somewhere else. A couple of days later I checked my bank account and it was overdrawn because Kendall the manager had sent my cancelled reservations through my bank. I... more

We were on our way to North Carolina and were just going to stay in Gatlinburg one night. I found this hotel on line and called to make reservations over the phone. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. It was pretty much what we expected. The room size was nice (we had two queen beds), however... more

After days of searching for a cheap, family owned motel we chose this one. We had a coupon that made it $39 a night and we were not charged for the 3rd adult staying in the room. The employees were very friendly and gave excellent restaurant reccomendations. The room was a basic motel room with 2 double beds and a... more
