This is the third or fourth time we have stayed at this motel. It has a fantastic view looking over downtown Gatlinburg, is withing walking distance of downtown, easy access, very friendly and helpful staff. It's an older motel and needs some updating. Price is reasonable. We did not use the pool but it looks nice. Room had a fireplace,... More

PROS; ample parking; close to everything; off the main strip so easy in and easy out; in the “ king 2 bedroom suite “ that we stayed in, we had 2 side by side sinks, mini fridge, microwave, small coffee maker, 2 air conditioning units, 1 private balcony (small) that was about 7 stories off the ground (even though it... The place is great.. the place is in a great spot its perfect to walk to town.. the view is so pretty.. the front desk people are so friendly.. we loved the porch sitting out looking across town. My family can't wait to come back. It's our place to stay every time we come to Tennessee.

First off I'll start by saying you get what you pay for. We had a king suite and the views from the balcony were great and the room seemed to be pretty clean. The hotel in general needs a lot of maintenance and is showing significant signs of wear. For instance the tile in the bathroom was chipped and worn... More

OK place, especially for the cost. BUT, the rooms need a complete remodel, our room, 129, the shower faucets were so wore out, you couldn't hardly take a shower without freezing or burning. You would get it set, then it would change itself. Shower needed no skid in it also, slick. The refrigerator had a leg missing, and when you... More

My daughter and I spent five days here. It was a clean place to sleep. You get what you pay for, it isn't the Ritz but the staff is friendly and the location is good. Breakfast was minimal just bagels English muffins, muffins and donuts. Had an issue with first room but switched rooms and was pleased with our stay.... More

I stayed at the Gatlinburg TN Rodeway Inn for 2 nights. The room was clean and everything worked properly. It was a first floor room with a nice little patio. The people who ran the place were friendly and helpful. There was nice views out the door but no front window and nice view from the patio. Location was perfect... More

Think twice before you stay here. The only things this place had going for it were the location and the friendly check-in clerk. The continental breakfast was minimal and the dining area very small. We were there off season. The pool had not been drained or covered and was disgusting. Our room overlooked a dirty creek. Some improvements had been... More

My parents used to take my brothers and I to this place every year. Walking distance to everything!! I took my kids there as well...Its tradition. They are all grown up now, but it is their favorite place as their childhood memory!!! Loved the rooms that overlooked the pool! #114 and #115

Folks, I read several reviews of this location. Then I made a reservation and went to Gatlinburg. That’s when I realized what’s really being reviewed here. I liked this place. Sure, it was a little eclectic, and it wasn’t “perfect”, but I enjoyed my stay. What it opened my eyes to is the way that some people like to criticize... More
