This hotel has the best location. It is about 2-3 miles to the Sugarland Visitor Center in the Smoky Mountain Park. It is very near restaurants and shops ( walking distance). I enjoyed the view of the creek while on the balcony. The room was also large and clean. The cons would be a tiny breakfast area as well as... more

My husband and I have stayed here for the past 4 years. It's a great little motel and a wonderful location right on the river. Our stay this time was not as good as the others. The rooms need some up dating. The bathroom tile was peeling off at the bottom. The old air system on the wall did not... more

Check in was a dissapointment at first because we were given a handicapped room. After I complained the girl at the front desk moved us to another room. The outside tables overlooking the stream were a great place to rest after lots of downtown shopping. The cornor fireplace was a nice fixture, but only for the winter months. The location... more

Gorgeous large room with fireplace on creek. Hardworking staff. Breakfast was adequate but just a little more than a continental breakfast. Great location just off the main tourist strip. We thought Calhoon's restaurant, which was nearby, was a good choice for a casual restaurant and was a good value. more

I have stayed in this hotel twice, and this more recent time, for 2 nights. Originally it was confusing for the driver driving us into Gatlinburg via Pigeon Forge because there is a newer Fairfield with a fancy water-playscape in the front. This particular hotel is located past that nearly on the other side of Gatlinburg on River Rd. However,... more

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn, on our honeymoon. It was very quiet, and the view was wonderful. If we were to ever visit again we would be sure and stay there. The hot tub/jacuzzi and the fireplace was so romantic. It was nice just to relax. It was within great walking distance of the Main Shopping Strip in Gatlinburg,... more

If you like being near downtown Gatlinburg this is a safe pick for a hotel (I do not like it downtown but my teenage sons do) I believe it is an older property but it appears as if it has been well maintained. Our room was very large (my 2 teenage sons called it a party room) and the balcony... more

#9 in popularity? Man! I'd hate to be forced to stay in one of the top 8! There's nothing really wrong with this hotel, it is just such a far cry from the other Fairfields I've stayed in that I felt very cheated. It's fairly new, which is good, and very clean and nicely decorated. The parking is very inadequate.... more

Ok. I never write reviews, but I had to after staying here. Gatlinburg is an older town. Therefore, it was hard to find a hotel that was nicely updated. While planning my trip to Gatlinburg, I relied on reviews. And this hotel was the only hotel that had really good reviews. And they are all correct. This hotel was great.... more

This is the first time my husband and I stayed in Gatlinburg. I done lots of research before chosing a place to stay. I loved the location of this hotel and it didn't dissapoint. You are right at Ober Gatlinburg and if you stay on the side we did you can see the cars going by. Also the sound of... more
