Right at the entrance of the Great Sand Dunes National Park. There is nothing else for miles. Basically its a store, restaurant, gas station and cam ground all on the very bottom slope of the mountain Overall a good place I;ll review each part separately. Restaurant. Pretty good food. We ate breakfast here one morning . The food was pretty... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Oasis Campground. Compared to staying in the national park campground, it is less manicured and only had one bathroom for the campground, but it had slightly more privacy (more trees). It is about a 5 minute drive to the entrance of Great Sand Dunes National Park. We arrived around 9:30 on a Friday night,... More

First time to camp here. We rented the cabins, price is great especially during the July 4th weekend. I didn't like the smell of cabin, so we went to buy some air spray to remove some cabin odors. Beds are comfy enough for the camping. We had the full bed and a double bed, good for 4 person, a dining... More

My family and I waited too long to make tent site reservations at Great Sand Dunes Natl Park, and it was already full when we arrived on Friday morning. I'm grateful there was still a place nearby to camp, and the convenience store, laundry machines, and showers were convenient. But the rocky, unnumbered sites had little shade, the restroom facilities... More

Reservations and Check-in process was very easy. We stayed for only one night and it was ok for what we need it. We didnt use the laundry room or restrooms but they are available. Location, location, location...it was beautiful scenary. You can see the sand dunes from the campground.

Our party of 5 with a 40 motorhome and a 40' 5th wheel were too large for the Great Sand Dunes National Park. TrailerLife magazine did an article about the National Park and Oasis and I thought I'd give it a try. Sites are close together and we had to move a picnic table over a few feet to park... More

We stayed at the Great Sand Dunes Oasis RV park for a quick weekend trip revolving around the Great Sand Dunes. We wanted close proximity to the Sand Dunes along with full hook ups and this business delivered; however, that is about all this RV park is about. Sites are close together with minimal vegetation to provide any privacy. They... More

I haven't camped out in over twenty five years so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. They have many sites, 140+, mostly very rocky. Hard to hammer tent stakes. Most sites have great views of the Dunes and the site is very convenient to them. Their restaurant was very good and saved us on one rainy night. Their... More

Oasis is about 3 miles outside of the Great Sand Dunes National Park, so it was a convenient stay for us! They have a few types of lodging, but we opted for good ole-fashioned tent camping. The campsites were fairly well maintained and not too crowded together. They have a large office where you can purchase supplies, rent sand boards,... More

My family was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and enjoyable experience. The menu is limited, but we enjoyed our choices. The Oasis is conveniently located right outside the park. It is great for a quick, but tasty breakfast bite.
