Our party of 5 with a 40 motorhome and a 40' 5th wheel were too large for the Great Sand Dunes National Park. TrailerLife magazine did an article about the National Park and Oasis and I thought I'd give it a try. Sites are close together and we had to move a picnic table over a few feet to park... More

We stayed at the Great Sand Dunes Oasis RV park for a quick weekend trip revolving around the Great Sand Dunes. We wanted close proximity to the Sand Dunes along with full hook ups and this business delivered; however, that is about all this RV park is about. Sites are close together with minimal vegetation to provide any privacy. They... More

I haven't camped out in over twenty five years so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. They have many sites, 140+, mostly very rocky. Hard to hammer tent stakes. Most sites have great views of the Dunes and the site is very convenient to them. Their restaurant was very good and saved us on one rainy night. Their... More

Oasis is about 3 miles outside of the Great Sand Dunes National Park, so it was a convenient stay for us! They have a few types of lodging, but we opted for good ole-fashioned tent camping. The campsites were fairly well maintained and not too crowded together. They have a large office where you can purchase supplies, rent sand boards,... More

My family was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and enjoyable experience. The menu is limited, but we enjoyed our choices. The Oasis is conveniently located right outside the park. It is great for a quick, but tasty breakfast bite.

We stayed here in our travel trailer because we wanted close proximity to the great sand dunes. The staff are friendly, bathrooms/showers clean and the view outstanding. There are also tents sites, cabins, and a quaint lodge. Highly recommended!

I was a little skeptical when we pulled up in front of the store/restaurant ... But it was Memorial Day weekend, and the campsites in the park were already full, so we had little choice. I was pleasantly surprised however. The campsite we snagged had plenty of little trees that provided protection from the wind, the fire pit was nice,... More

The guy who works there told my brother and I where his favorite camp site was. The second night we stayed, we noticed that site was empty. Him and I snatched it up and I'm so glad we did. The views were beautiful. There was a little hiking trail behind it and the site offered lots of privacy. I love... More

We got a couple boards for two hours at the end of the day. They didn't work very well and at $20 each felt like a bit of a ripoff, but they were fun. If you have more time, probably more worth it. The waxing process is more effort than effectiveness.

I've stayed here five or six times and enjoyed each visit. This family owned hotel is clean, beds are nice, and the view of the sand dunes is amazing. My favorite thing is the hummingbird feeders outside each room with continuous battles of who can claim each feeder. In the morning there were deer in the parking lot who didn't... More
