While the ambiance might be lacking, the folks are great, personable. Enjoyed the bar that is part of the park. Quiet even with the motel almost right beside us. Our space had everything we needed and even decent Wi-Fi. This is a remote area, and this park is close to all you want to see in Great Basin. We were... More

We spent two nights in room 4 at the motel. It had a king size bed, frig, microwave, satellite TV and free wi-fi. The room was decent size, everything was clean and the AC worked fine. The location is perfect for visiting Great Basin National Park as the motel and RV park are right at the main entrance. Baker also... More

The location is perfect for getting to the Great Basin National Park. The facilities were very nice, clean and convenient. We stayed in the RV Park portion of the property. It was shaded with huge Elm trees and well maintained. We had full 50 amp service and plenty of space for our slide outs and tow car. The relatively speedy... More

We stayed in tents and were disappointed that it was just dirt. There is absolutely no grass but there were a few trees for minimal shade. The services were fine though. The bathrooms and showers were clean enough, although a drain in the changing part of the shower rooms would help cut down on the water that gets all over... More

This is an RV campground/bar with a strip of motel rooms. The motel room was basic, but it was clean and well-equipped and the price was reasonable. There's not much more you can expect in Baker, NV. The room was also quiet. Really, nothing to complain about -- definitely the best place to stay in downtown Baker, NV.

We stayed here in our RV on our way to S. Utah and again on our way back. It is small but well kept up with full hook ups and friendly staff. If you arrive after 4pm you check in at the bar and are greeted by Chuck and Lulu the sweetheart bulldog. No TV but the WiFi is the... More

We needed a place to stay for one night close to Lehman caves. Whispering Elms is a very basic motel, with an adjacent RV park and campground. The motel rooms are in a single, one-storey block. The amenities are few, the furnishings are old, the carpets are dusty, and the A/C did not work. But, the bed was clean and... More

Close to Great Basin NP. Stayed in one of the rooms. Basic, but nice. Walls are paper thin. Good wireless access. Nice and shady. Owners & staff are very nice. Nice location for a quick get away during the off season.

It is always nice to go to a place with friendly staff, and good drinks. The bar tender Chuck makes the BEST Bloody Mary I have ever had!! If you are in the area this is a must stop. Little at a time the place is trying to improve.

We were in town to see the stars at Great Basin National Park. We saw the bar was open and decided to drop in for a beer before heading up in the cold winter night. When we walked in we were greeted by Chuck. Chuck was extremely nice and we talked to him for a long time about the surrounding... More
