2 night stay to visit the Great Basin NP, 11 miles away. After a long drive from Lake Tahoe along highway 50 we received a warm welcome and settled into a clean, comfortable adequate room of good proportion. Breakfast was good although diner menu for other meals was restrictive. This was expected and so did not spoil our stay. Weather... More

A Hot hamburger is an item found in a diner in the East.. If you never had one, this is the place to try one, best I've had since leaving Pennsylvania 52 years ago.. We have not stayed here, as we camp at the Great Basin NP, and eat here at times, but this Winter I'm itchin for a HH... More

We stayed here for one night as part of a road trip to visit Great basin NP. The staff were friendly and the diner offered good honest food. Remember it's a Diner, not fine dining. The room was ok but could have felt and looked fresher than it did. For a place in the middle of nowhere that we were... More

I liked the Border Inn. The people are so very nice and it is very clean. It is very basic and you should not expect very much, but given it's remote location it worked out very well. If I go back to Great Basin National Park, I will stay here again. We had room 14, which was a non-smoking room.... More

Located right on the Utah / Nevada border this motel is extremely remote but great as either a stopping off point or for access to Great Basin National Park. At check-in it was explained to us that the motel rooms were in mountain time but the restaurant was in pacific time. This in itself made it worth the distance we... More

And there isn't very much else! This place is literally in the middle of nowhere. And it was better than expected. We stayed in the motel with friends in the room next door. Sure the Wi-Fi wasn't perfect and the restaurant not gourmet, but considering the location this was like an oasis. We didn't expect to get Hilton quality rooms... More

I am used to roadside motels, but this one was one of the worst I've stayed at. We spent one night here on the way back to Northern California coming from Bryce and Zion. The proximity to Great Basin National Park and the fact that it had wifi gives it 2 stars, but thats about it. The place wan't very... More

It is a neat row or rooms along a highway. The people were nice but don't expect much. They have a dining room that seems good for burgers but don't go farther than that. They make their own pies and I have never had worse.

This was our second stay here. We are full time RVers and remembered this was a nice place to stay to visit The Great Basin National Park. It was even better than we remembered! The receptionist (owner??) was extremely pleasant and professional. As far as RV parks go, it doesn't have too much in the way of ammenities, but it... More

Motel: budget, clean, ac, tv, wifi, simple and comfortable shelter. Restaurant: suprisingly good tasting food, clean, prompt, friendly service. Store: simple, but the only game in town. Staff and Managment: friendly, thurough, thoughful, caring, what you would hope to expect anywhere. Casino:? don't play but looks like typical machines.
