The motel was clean, the mattresses and pillows were comfortable. I wouldn't recommend staying more than one night, however, as there are other properties not far away in Utah on US 21. If you're concerned about moths and other bugs, put something next to the door, as there's a bit of a gap between the door and the jamb. more

This past July 2004 my wife and I took a trip out West and spent the night in the Silverjack Motel in Baker, Nv. It was a clean but small room with a nice courtyard and friendly inkeepers. I wasn't able to stay there after all, but I loved talking to the man on the phone, and I drove by it on the way elsewhere -- it's a classy-looking little place in a rustic kind of way, and it has some charm. I'd like to try it! more

room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable I would highly recomend making this your base for exploring Great Basin. T & D's Restaurant across the street was excellent. more
