I have mixed feelings about our stay at Hidden Canyon Ranch. I'll start with the pros: Everyone we spoke with was very friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in for one night was nice and clean. Also, it's a pretty area. Now for the cons: 1. First and foremost, they mis-advertise. If you go to the Great Basin Park... More

Place was nice, but not quite as advertised, the lodge is a home and its really not a place we were welcome to hang out in lodge, we were staying in the court, that used to be a home for wayward girls. Its very nice and the canyon is beautiful and fun to roam around. They serve you a nice... More

Not a New England style B&B! A small U-shaped motel about 100 yards from a mess hall type building. Had a bland breakfast and a satisfactory dinner, both presented rather poorly. Other then registration, the hyped Lodge is off-limits. Rooms were clean, large and comfortable, but no in-room TV's, no cell phone reception and incredibly slow WiFi. Personnel were friendly... Found this place, thank goodness, through the lodging link at the park website. Options in Baker are iffy and Ely is too far away. This is a very comfortable b and b in a motel like building. The ranch is 6 miles down a well maintained gravel road deep into the canyon. A fantastic setting. There is a main lodge... More

Perseid meteors seen with zero light pollution. 6,000 foot elevation and low humidity help too. Viewed Andromeda through telescope. Perfect place for laying on a blanket and getting lost in the Milky Way. 25 minutes to Great Basin Park and all the hiking to Bristlecones, glacier, lake , Lehman Cave etc. Personable hosts make this seem like family. Great interactions... More

We had a three day in June to Great Basin National Park and took the opportunity to stay at this wonderful property. During our national park travels, we try whenever possible to stay at B&Bs to patronize small business owners, and each time we are remind why: hospitality. This place has it in abundance. From the moment we arrived, we... More

This is a wonderful Get away place! We have stayed here many time over the years for our family reunion and look forward to going back every year! We have stayed in the cabins down by the bath house, have tented it and also stayed in Roseberry. Roseberry rooms are awesome ! It's so peaceful and beautiful! No cell phone... More

This bed and breakfast is just outside Garrison, Utah but is in Nevada. It is about 6 miles off the main highway.....the place is located about 20 miles from Great Basin National Park. It is more like a small motel than a typical bed and breakfast. The cost of the room comes with a hot breakfast served family/buffet style. For... More

First, the only reason to come to the area is to see Great Basin National Park. Baker Nevada is miles from anywhere. The town has 68 people per the 2010 census. It has (sort of) one gas station. About 7 miles away is Garrison, UT with no facilities or, in another direction Border, NV with a combination motel/gas-station/mini-casino. It appears... More

This is actually more like a hotel with a hot, custom made breakfast than a typical bed and breakfast. We stayed in a two bedroom suite (with the access to the second bedroom locked because we didn't pay for it. It was bigger than a normal hotel room, had a dorm refrigerator and microwave. There was no TV in our... More
