This was a repeat visit for me & my family to the Spur Ranch Cabins. We last stayed there in December of 2001 in the same 2-bedroom cabin, Larkspur. My husband and I stayed at the Osprey cabin at Dornan's. We had stayed in the cabins when they were new about ten years ago. They have held up well but need new mattresses and to add microwaves. Spent six nights in a one-bedroom cabin overlooking the Tetons and on the Snake River. The cabin was comfortable and clean and very quiet. Great cabin - basic but ample. One bedroom, living room, small kitchen (no microwave and basic cookware). No TV - but who needs it here ? Great sage soap, but no shampoo. After camping for over a week, it was a luxury to be in the cabin. It was clean and relaxing. The location was great for exploring the park. The staff were pleasant and helpful for everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. more
