The setting is beautiful and rustic. The property is steps for the shore and canoes are easily accessible. Our host (Gale & Kelley) were fantastic, they were available at all times but also let your stay be totally private. The food at the lodge is 5 star, we could barely walk away from the table! This log cabin lodge was a welcoming sight to the group of six traveling into the Boundary Water Canoe Area. The Old Northwoods Inn is a beautiful place to stay. The owner Gale & manager Kelly make you feel like you're part of the family.
