We had a great room to accommodate all 6 of us. We stayed in the "Paddlers" room that was attached to the main lodge. The deck was a perfect place for us to sort out our gear and be ready to start our adventure. The Voyageur staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great trip!

The best service and support ever! Once again a perfect experience! Love this place and the staff. Breakfast and first out helped with my search for camps and timely portage arrivals. Extraction from American Point timely and smooth. Thanks!

Voyageur Canoe Outfitters has customer service down to the T! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and they keep in contact with helpful emails before you arrive. This was my first time using an outfitting company for my boundary waters adventure and I would recommend anyone looking at going up through Grand Marais to give them a shot.

Voyageur's did a terrific job of helping us have a fantastic trip. Rather than give up on canoeing now that we're in our mid-seventies and half decrepit, we had VCO tow us to a beautiful campsite where we established a base. From there we enjoyed day trips out to various islands, explored and fished at our own slow speed. VOC... More

This was our first time to the boundary waters and Voyageur Canoe Outfitters were awesome. They were extremely helpful and very personable. They helped map out our trip and gave awesome campsite recommendations. The check in and check out process was simple and quick. We did stayed at the bunk house the night before, which worked out great since our... More

VCO started our experience out extremely organized several months prior to our departure. We were able to ask the multitude of sometimes silly questions of the staff and were met with kind and informative answers. Once we arrived, everything was explained extremely well leaving really not much unknown. We were shown to our bunk house for the first night and... More

I have always wanted to camp and canoe in the BWCA and my two teenage daughters were ready for it. Voyageur outfitted us with everything we needed and helped us plan our route. The route we chose was perfect and Tony recommended some campsites that were just amazing. Getting to sleep in the bunkhouse the night before the trip was... More

My kids (ages 15,13 and 11) and I love camping and spending time outside. I loved the idea of this vacation from the time I found it. And it lived up to all of it expectations. We got the complete outfitters package because it is a 16 hour drive to get there. The equipment was all clean and in excellent... More

This was our first stay in a Voyageur cabin. Cabin and its guest cabin were more than enough space for our family of 8 children, my husband and me. Upon arrival we found a charcoal grill as well as a fire ring. Plenty of firewood in the surrounding wooded yard. Gas grill on deck, which overlooks the beautiful river, a... More

Had an ambitious 3 day trip planned and about 5 hours into rowing with my girlfriend we decided to pull onto an island in the middle of Lake Sag and spend two nights there. Working in the city the past two years, I could not have asked for a better get away from noise and pollution. Voyageur made it as... More

We're happy you had a blast on your wilderness canoe trip. We're glad we could be a part of your time away from the city. Saganaga is one of my favorite Boundary Waters lakes and I'm glad you seemed to appreciate it as much as I do. Sometimes it's nice to just set up a base camp and relax and... More
