After visiting the Grand Canyon, we spent the night here. We had to spend the night in the Page, because the next morning we had a tour of the Colorado River. In the Page all the hotels were very expensive and that the campground was the perfect solution. Everything was good, but very difficult to find your loop and site... More

This is a very well maintained campground with concrete pads and reliable power and water pressure (and yes, your A/C will run long hours in August here). Loved the short drive to town, the short walk to the beach and the marina. If you intend to rent something with a motor (like a boat, jetski or alike) here, RESERVE early.... More

We spent a few nights tenting here. We LOVED that there was a tent only loop so we could avoid the noise and bother that always seem to accompany RVs. Sites were assigned, rather than first-comp-first-served which I appreciated. Sites were well spaced with plenty of room and a designated area for the tent as well. Great views down to... More

What a beautiful place. Lake Powell and the surrounding area is such a unique and gorgeous place to visit. Then campground doesn't disappoint either. Very large, well maintained and clean. The campsites are large and afford more privacy than most places. The view from our rear window made the extra cost (a little higher priced than most) worth it. We... More

What a great location and views. Good jump off spot to explore the Page area. We had a good site, good views, etc. We had an RV so no problems with wind. Other than that, no complaints! Good all around.

When loaded up with youth groups, the infrastructure of the campground is woefully inadequate. Half the showers were out of commission (some just because the coin box needed emptying - showers are $2 for 15 minutes). They could easily use another building on the other side of the campground with another 16 showers. One time there was a middle-aged French... More

This was our 2nd stop on our Grand Circle tour coming from the Grand Canyon. I think if you have a large RV this is probably the best place to stay in the area - unless you actually want to be in Page itself. The campground is very clean as our the restrooms. The sites are nice with fire pits.... More

we were camping for thee weeks in the USA and his campground looks good, but as other reviews say you should be aware that your tent is in a windy spot no trees etc. we had a storm and our tent almost blew away we had to put a picknick bench on top of it. When it's hot you have... More

Stayed 7/18-7/20/14. Stayed at the Waheap Marina hotel. Great place. Room was nice and clean. Air conditioning all through the place. Outside it was 105 degrees in the heat of the day. Humidity was only 12%. Staff was great and friendly. There's even a Starbucks. Very nice gift store too. However, for the cost of staying there, everything is extra.... More

More than 25 years after our first visit at Lake Powell this place lost its attracitivness. Where is the blue brightness of this beautiful spot on earth? Well, Wahweap is still a great campground, Very friendly staff, clean, great camping spots, WiFi runs good, clean showers and toilets. Just the thing called "beach" is weak, you find better places at... More
