Lots of amenities and activities on site. Everything clean and well maintained. Staff efficient and friendly. Great lake view at reasonable price. We had an excellent experience in the Lake Powell Resort. Great view of the lake from the room, even if it meant bringing bags upstairs. Just spent 4 nights in a Marina View room (the lake views were all booked). It had a dynamite view of the buttes and mesas from the balcony. We were able to get a second-floor room (quieter). There's also a small fridge (no microwave). All in all, we were pleasantly surprised by the place.

We upgraded to a lakeview when we saw the difference to the carpark view. The rooms are in 2-storey blocks 2 rooms deep, with a row facing the lake and a row facing the carpark. We could only stay one night, but the room was comfortable and the view of the marina was nice. Really liked having the patio to walk out on and look around. The fish tacos in the bar were very, very good! Hope we are able to come back and stay longer!

We were glad we had paid extra for a Lake View room, otherwise the outlook would have been a very close car park, in these rooms the balcony would not have been a pleasant experience.
