Lake Powell Resort We stayed at the Lake Powell Resort for two days from 23 August and enjoyed our time there. The rooms are beginning to look a little tired and the corridors to the bedrooms definitely need a facelift. Tiny motel-style pillows. Uncomfortable beds. Bathroom in desperate need of remodeling. We booked the "Bed, Boat & Breakfast" package for our family of 5. Try to get a second floor room facing teh lake - it's worth the add'l price or otherwise you're facing a parking lot. Hotel is recently remodeled and room was clean and more than ample. Only problem was the hallways smelled of sulfur and there's no elevator.... more

The location is good but this hotel is much too expensive for the small, very average rooms it offers. Not enough shade to rest next to the swimming pool (the sun is very hot in July at lake Powell). more
