Huge resort that was quiet in April. Maybe only 20 cars on the massive car park. The rooms themselves are pretty average but totally fine for a few nights. Decent on site restaurant too which was very convenient. This is also the hotel from which the Lake Powell boat tours go from. Which I would totally recommend. More

Not only is the "resort" way over priced for the condition of the rooms, with the beds short sheeted because they are too small for the mattresses, dirty hot hallways, $15 breakfast buffet with only one long line, freezing cold crowded pool, and a staff who doesn't even acknowledge your existence, but the marina was even worse. We called and... More

If you want to see Rainbow Bridge this is the place to stay. The boat takes of early in the morning and it is well worth the trip. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. We had a lovely room overlooking the lake with a small terrace. The lodge is large with lots of facilities. Not cheap but worth the experience More

Spent 3 nights in Jan 2012 with my husband and beagle. Our lakeview room allowed fabulous views of the lake, the moored houseboats and majestic terrain. Sunsets fabulous. Since it was off season restaurant was closed but bar provided a very good menu and super drinks! Also, during Jan. boat tours only available on weekends so we missed out. But... More

Our trip to Lake Powell was great. If you are staying at the lake this is the place to stay. Take your camera. Sunrise and sunset pictures are great from here. The resort is top notch. We will be back again. More

We stayed here for a 1 night stopover, thinking it might be nice to stay in the National Park since there isn't much else around. The receptionist was friendly but the hotel was musty, dark and older looking. The beds were comfortable but the sheets were just thrown on and were too small to be tucked around the mattress so... I was the leader of a group of 50 that enjoyed our 2-night stay at the Lake Powell Resort. They handled our reservations well, and we had great rooms near the lobby and all facing the lake. It was busy at dinner, but we fortunately made reservations ahead of time. Most of our group took the Canyon Adventures 2.5 hour... More

We checked in and were given room 125 which is located in building one at the end of the row. When we arrived there we found that unlike the rest of the rooms, our ground floor room had no balcony and appeared to be a lot smaller. On top of this the shower looked like it had been ripped out... More

We came to Lake Powell for about 4 days. We went on the boat tour to Rainbow Arch. We heard all about the flooding of Lake Powell and found it hard to imagine that we were floating at the tops of mtn. peaks! Next day we went on a tour to the Slot Canyons. Photographers will love this. Take your... More
