We were pretty scared to show up at the resort after reading the reviews on trip advisor. But we were driving from Las Vegas to Bryce Canyon area and wanted to visit Antelope Canyon and spend a day boating on Lake Powell. So we sucked it up and booked at the resort for 2 nights. The resort reminded me of... more

When I booked this stay Aramark took payment twice from my Credit card. After 6 emails they told me to ring the resort (from the UK!!) as they could give me no email address. I wrote two polite and clear letters to the hotel and did not get a reply to either so ended up sorting the matter out when... more

I read all the reviews before traveling and discovered that there was some truth in all of them. The resort is huge and provides many services, but the rooms are standard fare and well worn. I found the restaurant not as wonderful as reported. The rolls were cold and yeasty, the chicken satay was cold too and had to be... more

Have stayed here every year for the last three, both combination of before launching boat for camping on Lake Powell for a few days and as always, coming off the lake for those much needed showers and sleep before the 5 hour drive home. I liked the updates in the rooms, I was not too picky, but friends in the... more

If a view is what you're after and you don't need the newest hotel in town or the best service, then the Lake Powell Resort should suit you in the off season. I waited well over an hour to be served dinner (for a 7:00 pm reservation for seven) but if you have some patience and don't need to be... more

I have just left Lake Powell Lodge, where I took a group of senior adults as part of a weeklong tour in the area. After reading some of the other reviews on Trip Advisor, I wonder if we were at the same place. We were in Buildings 1, 2 and 3, and had a positive experience. The entire lodge has... more

We arrived at lake Powell after staying at outstanding places near Zion national park and Bryce Canyon, so we were even more disappointed than we might have been upon seeing our room. The corridors to the room were being cleaned and the carpets were being dried by some kind of fan which made the area noisy and smelly! The room... more

Lake Powell Resort We stayed at the Lake Powell Resort for two days from 23 August and enjoyed our time there. The rooms are beginning to look a little tired and the corridors to the bedrooms definitely need a facelift. With such stunning views outside it is a shame it is let down by shabby décor and poor maintenance indoors.... more

We visisted here on a sightseeing trip driving from Denver down to Phoenix. We were going to stop for two nights in Page and it was directly on our route, but reduced this to one night based on what i'd read on Tripadvisor. That was a good decision. For starters I didn't like Lake Powell anyway. It's an unnatural, weird... more

Tiny motel-style pillows. Uncomfortable beds. Bathroom in desperate need of remodeling. I think the housekeeping staff did what they could, but the bathtub plastic is so old that the dirt is ingrained in the surface itself. No amount of scrubbing would make it look clean. Guess what, folks? Time to replace the bathtub. The non-skid tape in the bathtub was... more
