We had a wonderful visit at this inn. Staff is wonderful, food is awesome. I'm not sure which meal was my favorite--breakfast, lunch, or dinner--they were all excellent. (We would go back just for the food!) The gardens are beautiful and the inn very comfortable and welcoming. We met many nice and interesting guests and staff members. Someone was always... More

Not only is every meal you eat here terrific, but the helpful, friendly staff makes this family run inn extra special. We have nothing but praise for it. The inn can book you a Glacier Bay or Whale Watch trip, lends you bikes to ride, offers to drive you around and is very accommodating. Most everything foodwise is home grown... More

My friend and I had a wonderful time here-so relaxing and we were treated like honored family. The 3 meals a day were outstanding--vegetables straight from the garden, fresh fish, homemade bread and desserts. We were even given a very substantial lunch when we had to go. Lunch and dinner were family style and for breakfast we could choose. The... More

We stayed 5 nights here. What a fantastic place this is. Dave had organised our itinerary from air taxi to tours. Our room, Fairview was spacious enough, plenty of towels and soap in the bathroom. The food was delicious, just as well we only stayed 5 nights! Dave and his staff, especially Judy, were most accommodating. People on special diets... More

Our hosts and the staff of this inn really made us welcome from the pick up at the airport until our afternoon flight back to Juneau. The room was a lovely ensuite overlooking the garden. It was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The food was outstanding, served family style, and more than adequate in quantity. We loved the chef... More

The Lesh family and their wonderful staff has a gift of making you feel a part of their family and life. They are gracious hosts! The house is lovely and very comfortable with stunning views. The grounds immaculate. I... More

We visited Gustavus in August and did not stay here but we were very fortunate to have had dinner reservations made for us one night! I would absolutely encourage anyone staying in Gustavus to make their way to the Inn for at least one dinner! You must arrange a reservation in advance and your inn keeper should be able to... More

Dave Lesh and the staff (many of whom are family members) at Gustavus Inn do a great job. The meals were great, the rooms clean and comfortable, the local knowledge off the charts and the service wonderful. Everything functions so smoothly, even the largest challenges are overcome like mere speed bumps.

We booked Garden View, a room with its own bathroom. We loved everything about our stay, especially the organic garden! The food, staff and service were excellent. Very clean, very homey. The bikes were handy. There's a short bike ride (25 minutes) to a short hike (15 minutes) to a 1958 plane crash site which I found interesting. The Inn... More
